it seems kind of a waste to have his extra story stop where he died canonically. The game could've at least pulled a "what if" and continued the game with new dialouge, from a perspective that he survive.

there really isn't a way to give him a 'happy ' ending because thats the irony of his fate. he ends up a hero but a traitor; saving his friends.

and the final image kill me. I wish I could find the full-color pictures of these easily. i found a few but.

anyway, poor leon. There was never really any hope for him - and thats the tragedy of it all when you see his entire story :\

When he was pulled away, he was refering to him dying, he meant that he got revived from Elraine who pulled him back to the world of the living.

Leon truly didn't deserve to die, but in the end... one can even say he was happy. He accepted his fate, his death. I don't think anyone would want it any other way, or Leon would lose respect as a great character. The Irony of Fate.

The ending music is beautyful!

Sakuraba did an excellent job recomposing Lion's theme.

And the beautyful artwork slide show at the end made it perfect.

A sad but beautyful ending.

What make it even more sad is that they show it in an anime movie. Just like in Tales of the Abyss, the best characters die in anime movies, and that makes it even sadder.
