Funkmaster Flex did not always suck. I think he's just getting old. Back when he began on Hot 97 (Friday Night Street Jamz days) he was pretty decent. But now, he's terrible on the radio unless he's spinning 90s. I think he's just out of his era. Aside from that, he's not a competition DJ. He's good at doing simple things which is enough for a radio DJ. He shouldn't try to compete in something he's not built for.

Flex probably didnt even go up there with a "made at home" set. most turntablelist cant freestyle for shit make it up as they go only their scratches can be made up. they practice that shit is you tour with them you will hear the same shit over and over. I still love it but it takes a hell of a DJ to rock out a party and then to be able to convert and compete by freestylin on they ass.
