  • t72fins, Thank you

  • I loved the passages in Flair's book about a match he had with Wahoo. One night they are chopping the shit out of each other and Wahoo's blade came loose from his wrist tape and cut Flair across the eyebrow, leaving Flair with a flap of skin hanging down. Flair whispered, "Fuck Wahoo, you just cut me up!" Wahoo answered, "Calm down, I've had more stitches in my foreskin than you've had in your whole fuckin body." Classic.

  • I agree with u 100% sammys70. Mcmahon is a piece of shit. He made an ass out of every NWA star who bled from the 80s on back. Rhodes, Race, Road warriors, Steve Kern of the Fabulous ones (Skinner), Junkyard Dog, Ron Garvin, Billy Jack Haynes, Iron Mike Sharpe, etc. The only one who he couldnt do it to was Ric Flair, because it was Ric Flair. Oh yeah, he made fools out of Arn Anderson and Tully Blanchard too. NWa wrestlers were natural. No juice. Thats y Sting never signed with him.

  • The ref is way too active in this match.

  • I'm glad Wahoo never went to work for Vince and the WWF during the 80'sVince would have ruined him,and would turned him into some stupid cartoon indian character or something. The NWA was always way better than the WWF during the 80's,and the wrestlers didn't have to be all pumped up on steroids like Vince's did.Long live old school wrestling.

  • I always love seein Flair & WAhoo exchange chops.

  • This isn't Mid-South. This is Paul Boesch's Houston Wrestling. That's him announcing.

  • @RSXemperor I think the confusion comes from the fact that Boesch often closely promoted w/ Bill Watts' Mid South promotion which was based right next door in Oklahoma.

  • @Lfdjake91 That's right. A lot of people don't know Houston and Joe Blanchard's promotion had no talent roster of their own because all their talent was borrowed. Mostly from World Class. Gary Hart said in his shoot interview that you couldn't work those territories or even Bill Watts promotion without going through Fritz, Ed McClamore and the Dallas booking office.
