Nice vid., but like Mr. B et al. stated, check your wiring between the two left pairs and the two right pairs of speakers. The phase is off (eg., the 4 LEFT 15" subs are moving OUT while at the same time the RIGHT 15" subs are moving in), which can be seen in the video at 3:17; simple mixup of wires or indeed a funny way the musician made music....I've never heard of any musician using long-wavelength low-directional sub sound in opposite phase; hi and mids, yes; but not low frequency.

The thing is: woofers playing out-of-phase are cancelling each other out. He's losing a lot of low frequency energy that way. Wired in phase, he'll have much greater output, putting a lot less stress on his amps and the speakers. Plain and simple.

I didn't know my comment was vague. Seems pretty self-explanatory, if you know what the concept of proper phasing means. At the end of your little video, you can see by the side-by-side excursion directions that your left and right sides are wired backwards in regards to phasing. Plain and simple. Unless of course 1: Your test recording is mixed that way for some silly reason. 2: My eyes are playing tricks on me.

Wow... that must be the only camera of it's kind. I have a 1.3 megapixel camera that only shoots 13 frames per second, but it could still handle the movement of several woofers without making them appear to be out-of-phase. That's one very unique camera you got there! Maybe another video with a camera that doesn't display this phenomenon is in order. ;-P

It's not MORE, it's deeper. I've heard DC 1515, and believe me, it punch you harder in the chest, but I do prefer CLSC's mid's, it's very powerful, and is better sound quality than DC series anyways.. But, one think you can't argue on, is that it would be more hardcore with 2 pairs of AL-1002. Those are without doubt the best CV's.

Jeg har aldri testet alto, men etter som hva jeg hører så er Carver sprekere enn alto. Du har nok mer kraft enn meg pga du har 2 forsterkere, men hadde du satt en av de altoene opp mot carveren så hadde ikke altoen hatt mye å stille opp med... jeg tror kanskje vi ligger ganske likt i power. Carveren har fin kontroll på alle 8 15" og har faktisk kjørt en 10.000 watts ground zero sub på den.. Den har en ny pris på 30.000kr så det burde være kvalitet hvis du tenker på prisen ;)
