@supiiergirl99 I'm afraid the classification of Madrigal has nothing to do with dress. A madrigal is traditionally a secular (non-church music) composition for between 2-8 voices written around the 16th and 17th century.
This choir took a bit of liberty with the size of the choir, but historical performance practice doesn't really matter all too much.
Why do all the recordings of Madrigals from America flatten the vowel 'a' in 'fa' and 'la'?

kinda sounds like ya'll swallowed your fa la la's but we're singing this in a girls choir and it is a very very chanllenging song with rythms
