  • what i have done to this beat is too much people check it out pls i know u will love it

    on my page tooclassical

  • next - too close

  • peep this one /watch?v=cYm3RKpFijQ

  • this is actually a remix containing "drop" by timbo, "i've got my music" by marvin gaye and a recreation of "another one bites the dust" by queen. some other vocal samples can be found throughout the song.

  • @snowdjagha wrong this is a reprise of Kurtis Blow "Christmas rapping"

  • @TheSonsOfLight yeah but "Christmas rapping" samples "another one bites the dust"

  • @snowdjagha : wrong. There was no sampling in those days of Hip Hop. Sampling didnt come about until around 85. The Isolated sample with Ced Gee & Marley Marl. Christmas wrapping is called a Reprise(its what DR. Dre does). A reprise or an interpolation is when a band plays a chord similar to another song & flips it. Thats not a sample. If you play the Queen record you will see its not the same exact song. Just a similar base line. So this Timberland track & Next song were samples from Kurtis

  • @snowdjagha : do you play music? I think not or you would know that the Queen records & Christmas rapping are not the same. Same Chords but different keys & notes. I can name 5 songs like it from the era of 76-83.

  • @TheSonsOfLight i do know what an interpolation is. but i meant sampling like in "take the idea" and not like in direct sampling! i think i didnt explain myself quite well. =/ it's obvious the diference between the two instrumentals, but the basslines are really similar!

  • @snowdjagha : Thats why I'm telling you that what you said is wrong. This record is not a copy from Queen, but a copy from a Kurtis Blow record. & Kurtis Blow didnt sample Queen. Many songs in that era had similar baselines just as songs today have the same structures. Just as songs from the 80's used the same James Brown styled drums. Music is like that. How many Jazz records can you name that have the same chords. Dont be quick to say who stole what unless you truly understand music.

  • Timbaland at his best right here.

  • this is definitely not too close to queen, you guys are stupid, if youre a musician youd realize the tempo is different and a wider set of instruments are used here, you just assume its copied off queen cause it has that one sequence you can recognise

  • actually it is pretty much the exact same tempo as queen and you should try not to be a music snob when you proly only know things from what you heard. cuz this beat is the same type of shit vanilla ice got sued for taking the beat from under pressure even though it was different by a few beats. so yeah it is pretty damn close to queen

  • @UVofNWC how am I being a music snob when im supporting the artists creative interest? your argument is stupid and you dont know timbalands origin of inspiration for this song, so dont come telling me otherwise because you dont

  • @Uclah91 i fucking agree with you :D

  • @Uclah91 Yeah U Speak The Truth!

  • @Uclah91 actually timbaland didnt do nothing. someone besides him made this remix and took the "drop" acapella. thats the only timabaland intervention in this track.

  • Combo of queen and Nexts too close.

  • this is not timberland

  • is this timbaland? I doubt it.

  • another one bites the dust!

  • just a bit

  • is queen gonna sue?
