clapton is a soulless Sycophant who only plays the Blues cuz it's all he's good at! NOT the REAL DEAL AT ALL! yeah, he can play, but he's a real ASS! Marcus Miller, on the other hand: one of the best bassists alive! the rest of the band ROCKS! just like to can Clapton!

@bonecracker23 i wasn't talking about Clapton's PERFORMANCE, your royal HIGH-ASS, i was talking about the man, himself! clapton always does better when he's supported by great players that kick his ass! it's when he's "in charge" and the "Eric Clapton Show" begins that he falls all to pieces! this IS a great performance, but keep in mind his surrounded by geniuses who force him to play his best, instead of sit around on his laurels, like on most of his solo stuff!

@jteshuwah I have to agree with what you said about the solo stuff, he tends to be lazy at times^^ But the subtlety of the dynamics he puts in his guitar playing (at the beginning of this performance for example) is definitely something special ! :-) :-)
