what a rarity... to my knowledge, in the one season of wink's version, i heard that only 9 or 10 times was the full $10,000 won. is this anywhere near an accurate estimate?

If he had removed the 7 and the 2, he would've had the 1, 3 and 4 left and the good rolls would have been 3,4,5 and 8. If he had rolled a 7 it would've been game over because the 1 would've been the only number remaining.

Nahh. The best finish was the guy rolling the snake eyes on the Trebek HR and he did not have any insurance markers.
