  • A great song full of memories for those of us around in the late 60s/early 70s. Stax, Atlantic, Motown, King, Brunswick, Chess and Ric-Tic in the lyrics from the LEGEND himself. Edwin Starr you were just sheer MAGIC!

  • Saw Edwin Starr (Charles Hatcher) twice, first time at Rotherham All-Nighter, made me go and get his CD straight away. The second time I saw him got him to sign the 7" '25 Miles' for me, a true showman, and a lover of England Northern Soul fans.
