You may be right. But the Allies should have been able to come up with a better strategy to minimize post-war Soviet totalitarianism than they did. It's impossible to know what might have happened, but all we know is that what did result wasn't good.
It seems you are the only one that knows about WWII history, Stalin was allied with Hitler in the beginning then everything went to shit because of Poland. USSR and NaziGermany were both bullies, the good thing was that Stalin pushed back the Nazis and for that reason humanity was saved.
Something people don't mention is that part of the reason Hitler wanted to invade the USSR was not just to secure the flank but it would have been necessary to stage an invasion of the USSR for Germany to occupy the Middle East via a ground route through the Caucasus. If a person now or then controlled the oil of that region they could halt all the militaries of the world for at least some time.

I have to be careful here, because we are choosing between crap and more crap, and frankly there is no way to objectively analyze this, but with a Nazi regime ruling Eastern Europe we would have continued to see genocide on a larger scale than was experienced under Stalin. Furthermore, Hitler would have gone on to use this as a staging ground to invade the Soviets, the Balkans, the Middle East, etc.

Something people don't mention is that part of the reason Hitler wanted to invade the USSR was not just to secure the flank but it would have been necessary to stage an invasion of the USSR for Germany to occupy the Middle East via a ground route through the Caucasus. If a person now or then controlled the oil of that region they could halt all the militaries of the world for at least some time.

Mr. Michael "savage" Weiner's claim that the Fairness Doctrine will censor free speech is totally false. Unlike print media where access is readily availabe to anyone there are only a limited number of frequencies available on public radio. If we allow just a few license holders to own most of the radio transmission frequencies( as is the case now) and if we do not insist that they air opposing points of view on matters that are of interest then we are doing a disservice to society.
