I have a Lenovo IdeaPad S10-2 and I am using it right now. But I cannot use 1280 x 720p resolution! Is this some another version of the laptop which doesn't support that nice 720p resolution? My sister's Acer Aspire One D250 has 10.1" screen (same size as this lenovo) and it supports 1280 x 720p resolution. So any tips, is it possible to put 1280 x 720 p resolution in this laptop?
Best way would be to go down to the shop and ask what covers they have in stock. After that I might check amazon. I'll see if I can get my hands on one to shoot a how to video. But you basically just pop it off.
you know that with 1024X600, 720p will look crisper than with a res of 1280x720? reason is because the native resolution of the video would need to be scaled down in order to view at 1024x600. but if you were to view 720p content of a screen that is set at 1920x1080, it would loose quality because it needs to be stretched out.
the bigger the screens get, the higher resolution it requires in order to accommodate lower pixel pitch. too high of pixel pitch, you will see squares caused by more distant gaps between pixels
Haha I just found the video and realized I already watched it. That's funny. I watched it a long time ago before I knew about netbook news, and I think your video was embedded on Engadget. Good stuff, thanks.
Isn't the font size in your browser too small with a screen resolution that high on such a small screen?
