@iz2sicc So by your logic, the more intelligent a person is, the more 'right' they are.
Well let us just find out who the most intelligent person in the world is, and ask them about everything we don't know, and the entire rest of the world shall take them at their word.
@tonycatman No. Just Dr. Kaku. I named him specifically because of his numerous contributions to physics. His intelligence is not like even "the most intelligent" person's. Your logic is very narrow my friend. You just proved how close minded you are.
Michio says how he would create a new universe, yes we have trillions of years to find the equation that may or may not be string thoery, but in that time, if we are to create a universe in which THIS race will be able to live then we would have to solve the laws of physics, learn how to create gravity from nothing and learn how to create every force so that its the same as our universe , i might have said something stupid, i dont know , im only fifteen :S
We are a mere speck of sand grain. I feel pathetic just thinking about it. We are missing something big, some big event happened, i could almost see it, anyone or anything who witnessed it, lived trillions of years ago.
“There is a theory which states that if ever for any reason anyone discovers what exactly the Universe is for and why it is here it will instantly disappear and be replaced by something even more bizarre and inexplicable. There is another that states that this has already happened.” -Douglas Adams
always keep an open mind .......but never succumb to naysayers adn their pessimistic ilk.....they do nothing for humanity except make the optimists want to succeed even more!!
I don't really know how Godel and Turing would figure in a discussion of string theory, but I agree that Kaku comes across in this video as something of a partisan.
If you consider light at all points in the universe, (ex. its visible, therefore the light is in that point of the universe) then the universe contains no points being completely empty.
Makes you wonder if there is real randomness if there is a specific equation for it all, unless the equation does include randomness , something like:
universe + nonuniverse = a + b + b + randomness
Also to conder is nothingness, can a universe be completely empty of matter and energy, does it take matter and energy to makek a universe. Is the universe inside the point that makes the big bang, are there infininte big bangs and universes, making a megaverse.
you should check out the old double slit experiment here on youtube. Pretty tight shit. The act of observance changes the way a proton behaves when passing through double slits or one of the slits. As if observance causes it to be brought into conscious reality.
I wish I could see the world through this man's eyes for just a minute.

String theory, I'm sorry to say, is cack. It is all just forces and motion.
tonycatman 7 months ago
@tonycatman Because you are obviously as intelligent as Dr. Kaku.

am i the only one who really loves the tune from about 1 minute to just after the 2 minute mark? wish all physics had this back ground music in it:p

I feel I should point out that there were NO violins in ancient Greece. He meant to say Lyre, I'm sure.

@6:15 "game over"
Given Godel & Turing I don't get where he comes off saying such. He should know better.

One intrieging point is : Can there be an infinite number of stars in the universe(s) when space is nearly empty, or is it nearly empty?
