  • should try to mess around with the chords, would give it a cool richer sound

  • yeah it's just really confusing going from standard tuning to open g. now i don't know where any chords are haha.

  • I know, it's easy to get lost.... but it's really simple actually, Starting from the open G, if you move everything up 5 frets (G#, A, A#, B, C), well you got a C chord. Move up again 2 frets to the 7th, you got a D chord. G, C and D are the most common chords you'il be using in open tuning. If you're wondering, the chords (3 beats each letter) are G G C G G G D D G G C G G D G then try adding melody good luck!

  • ye getting it 10th of june. i just need something to start out with. i know i shold learn the pentatonic scale, which i will, but i'm kind of confused as to what chords to learn... i also have a hard time strumming fast. any useful info?

    i'm also getting a 12 string acoustic in the summerbreak because my current spanish guitar is breaking down on me lol.
