I was unaware of the detail differences, but I also missed the boot badge! A colleague had the Anglia but with a different grille. Most of the UK. ones were Populars.
@g0fvt It is actually an Anglia, the Bakelite dash and the wiper position give it away :)
the Pop was a stripped down version of this car, 1953-59, metal dash, very little chrome ie painted hub caps and bumpers and wipers mounted above the windscreen and larger headlamps:) ;)
......amazing what they got away with in those days!
Great car though.... slightly more power than the original 8H.P Sidevalve engine :)

Yeah its pretty cool...keep an eye on my channel..The shop I`m at now has a great smokeshow strip right out front...I suspect I will soon have many more to upload.

Over here (UK) that would be called a Popular, the Anglia had a different grille but otherwise the same. Nice looking car.
