@45678975011 Accept you can get into college with both. And lets say you get into college to be a vet, and than you finish, and than you go to be a vet. Do you really think they are gonna look at what you did in high school? They are gonna look at what you did in college dumb ass. Plus, if you knew anything, a GED is considered a high school diploma. At least in the state of MD it is, so shut the hell up kid.

@ImSoBrandon It doesn't matter what state you live in, you cannot get into the military with a GED alone. All branches limits the number of GED holders they recruit. No tier 1 or tier 2 university will accept someone with a GED, unless they have a degree from another college or university already. Whoever told you it was the same, lied to you. Apply at JHU or UM and lets see if they think it is the same.

@21142505 Dude how many people with a GED are trying to go to a Tier 1 school? Secondly you sort of wrong. Any college that accepts transfers from another college...well, that's how a person with a GED would get in. For example, some one get's their GED, goes to community college and gets 3.0 GPA then transfer to Big 10 school. Is it better to get a HS diploma? yes. Is someone with a GED going to Yale? Prob never.

i agree with what your saying. I busted my ass for my GED while my brother graduated high school solely because the teachers where tired of him and gave him his credits to get rid of him.
