Wait till you listen to them.....this is pure magic...I totally agree with you Denise, they are gems to be treasured, they really were in a class of their own, also love you comment Denise, it's from the heart, and there is nothing more passionate than that. I was born in 61 and i to was very very fortunate to just be old enough to appreaciate the late sixties and the seventies, the golden era really. I would give anything to turn back the hands of time.

This is a wonderful video. both eban and Russel were good. But with age the voice does fade no matter who you are. Russell is one of the greats and has been replaced with the stylisitics by Eban. Airrion Love is the real star. Singer Choreographer the whole package and he is still fine after all these years. That is called BLESSED.

Thom Bell didn't think the other Stylistics members were very good singers so he used various studio singers to backup Russell Thompkins. Bell has said bluntly that Russell Thompkins IS the Stylistics. That fact is undeniable regardless of how this particular tribute group sounds. They're just singing the songs Thompkins made famous.

Eban is good because God gave it to him. Eban owns the song and draws you into it. Not taking anything from Russell, he does have a great voice, but he is definitely not EBAN.

Sounding good is not the only thing one should look for in a song. Stop trying to compare the two. They are two very different men that brings something quite different to the table. Do try to enjoy and stop playa hate'n.

There should be no comparisons drawn as there is no conflict as far as Mr Brown is concerned.

I just listened to the original song. It is amazing how great Russell sounds, but the greatest performance is with Eban. He makes it his own. He draws you into the song, gives it life. There is a great difference between being able to sing and bringing personality to what you sing. Eban brings the show and it brings the best out of the group. They are all fabulous.. My love, and respect to The Stylistics....keep it coming fellows..
