First find which is your motherboard(M/B) by going through your M/B manual or by using Directx command dxdiag .use the m/b details and check in the manufacturers site to know how much RAM your M/B supports. Also make sure if your operating system supports 2GB or 4GB.

Yes those are more RAM slots. There's a difference between 4GB compatible and 4 stick compatible. In a PC with 4 DDR2 RAM slots, I could potentially put all 2GB sticks in for a total of 8GB.

Just a suggestion, if you are putting out educational videos for beginners (great job, btw) you might also want to mention that this should all be done WITH THE COMPUTER TURNED OFF.

I can just imagine some beginner watching this video on their computer while installing the RAM into the same computer! heh

If (as shown in this video) the computer isn't plugged in, then touching it can't possibly discharge static electricity. If you don't want to earth yourself and the computer properly on something that's grounded, then use an anti-static wrist strap.

If your current memory is already in your system, you don't have to remove your current memory.

it's recommended for dual channel configurations to use only matching memory. Odds are excellent that whatever you buy will not match your current memory.
