The firecharge is actually supposed to be the fireball a Ghast spits at you when they're on hostile mode. As a craftable item, it serves the same purpose as flint and steel, but as an entitity fired from a dispenser, it can act like TNT, with the additional effect of setting stuff on fire.

With the fire charge you can put it in a dispencer and fire it out :) it work little like the ghasts fireball

The well is legit. I found one rather easily.

Also, you can put the fire charges and the bottle o' enchanting in a dispenser and use redstone to release them or set fire to things.

that advanced ai doesn't sound fun, i hope we something to balance it out. but in some ways it will be good, i have xp machine right now and the zombies get stuck behind the spawner. it gets annoying.
