So they DIDN'T know each other as babies? I mean, I always thought, since we got the Muppet Babies cartoon series, we would of had them all knowing each other, so either this film was made before or after the series (which was made in the same year as the movie) and they either (a) didn't want them to be connected or (b) they decided to ignore the fact that they had placed them together in the series and went with them not knowing each other.

The last comment by youngrbels made a point. Think of where the kid versions of classics came from: this movie. Boy oh boy the Jim Henson Era was the best. The Muppet Movie, Great Muppet Caper and this movie Muppets Take Manhattans are classic films that greatly played a part in my childhood not a big part but a part of it. The only good Muppet Movies after this was Muppets Christmas Carol, Classic Theater, and Muppets from Space.
