@007kable I am not marty but marty is using a 2008 Gibson Les Paul Traditional which retail for about $2000-$3500 depending on model and year. Les pauls are very good for soloing. it sounds like you are a beginner so you should look at epiphone les pauls which are cheaper than gibsons but still very good. an epiphone les paul standard is about $500 but there are cheaper options. or get a gibson les paul studio which is about $1000.
