Gary Lightbody put all his emotions in this song and she kinda ruined it with all the moaning and the semi screaming.

You can't really compare the two. Gary interpreted and delivered his own way, and so did Leona. You might prefer Snow Patrol's version but that doesn't necessarily mean it's better. While I personally prefer Snow Patrol's version, I still appreciate her rendition of the song. I think her rendition made it a power-ballad and it's still nice yet different.

So the deep sadness combined with the eternal attitude of nondying hope has totaly vanished! This song was never supposed to be a mega seller, it has been written to help you, when your standing in front of an abyss of hoplessnes and all your powers are fading away.

Ms. Lewis just wanted to make a Megaseller, which she did perfectly. How else can you explain the commentary "where did she get that dress"? As I said, some sooner, some later!

Still Ms. Lewis is a great singer with a mega talent. She just should take the next step and be a songwriter, too!

I don't have the words to express how this song makes me feel..... but I really really feel it deep in the bottom of my soul.... and Leona's current singles..both are versions of another artists (Snow Patrol's "Run" and Avril Lavigne's "I Will Be) and both new versions are really great!!! People may criticise X Factor, but it produced Leona. X Factor can go on for another 100 years and I won't care, for it produced Leona! She is the greatest female vocalist I've ever heard and what takes her above the likes of Mariah is the emotion she puts in to each song. I'm a 15 stone bodybuilder and I have to watch her alone as she brings tears to my eyes every time I hear her sing this song. No one else can do this to me.
