No, the first M16 with 3 round burst was the A2. The A3 was basically an A2 with full auto, same receiver, handguard, everything but full auto. Was a civilian designation, later adopted.

The A4 has the railed upper receiver and a three round burst again.

mag looks like an A1 version well dunno bout that but M16 cant fire full auto (dunno on the airsoft)
