I like everything about this watch except it does not have a stopwatch feature.

Hehe. What an ad. I noticed that at 0.53 and 1.42, the second hand moves smoothly, without stopping at the marks, but at 1.46 when it zooms out to the actual watch the second hand stops correctly on the marks.

Anyway, I own the white face/black strap model. The strap is a problem, you'll have to change it after a year or so. The steel bezel also scratches too easily (but not the face). Other than that, great watch. Very classy.

@rizwan1983 that video is a cgi not live video.  The computer can do whatever it wants, this is a quartz movement and in real life the second hand will advance one second at a time.

Does this watch (cal 8700) have a chronograph (stopwatch) function, and how many minutes does it count?

It does not have a chronograph. This watch is strictly a perpetual calendar caliber that supports dual time and has an alarm. If you want a kick ass chronograph, look into the Citizen Calibre 2100.
