@Eradicationer It's just breaking on the news over here in the UK. Very sorry to hear this..... My respects to Claude and so many others like him, for what they went through for their countries.
Since the passing of Frank Buckles (the last American ww1 veteran) this man is now the last surviving world war 1 veteran of any country. God bless him.
the last time i checked wikipedia there was 2 unverified veterans! then when i refreashed the page one of the veterans were gone! so im guessing somebody just made it up
@dferhadi94 She was officially recognised as a war veteran in January 2010. I know you might disagree but that is the official view on the matter. I for one am not sure whether to consider her as a war veteran or not, but I have a great deal of respect for her doing her duty all the same.
Thank you for this wonderful video. Claude is my cousin, & it is not likely I can get to Australia soon to meet him personally. Thanks for this blessing.
That's the way I'd want to meet my end - old, but still with a sharp mind.

I think he don't smoke or drink liquor when he was young so that's why he is still alive.

Turns out that there is another WWI vet living in England. Her name is Florence Green. She was born there on February 18, 1901.
