Hey! I was thinking about getting the mousse foundation, n u seem like you may be my skin color, but if you don't mind can you tell me what color foundation you are in let's say MAC or make up forever so I can maybe get an idea as to what exactly my color may be...? Great tutorials btw!
I LOOOVEE this foundation's finish and how light it is, but I don't like applying it because it's super crumbly and it's hard to get it off of my brush and stick to my skin, because usually I just end up wasting product because it crumbles off before I can blend it, but other than that it's fabulous
@fashionbug9880 What brush are you using to apply it? because the brush is what can be causing it to crumble. If you use a foundation brush like she is, then it tends to crumble. BUT if you use a flat top like brush (like I use) it doesn't crumble at ALL and the application of the foundation is much BETTER!
everything is soo super cheap in america ,here in australia for just the dream matte mousse it is eighteen dollars and that is when it is on special (the currency is very similar ) ,every thing here is like triple the price ! :(
I wish I knew about that deal when it was going on! I used that foundation awhile back too. The only thing I don't really like about it is that it can get in dry spots of your skin and look a little cakey, but that only happened once when I used that "bullshit" ProActive several years ago. HA HA! much love girl... u have amazing skin and eyes!
@PJhateacne yeah i tried looking everywhere too, but i read that it's been discontinued in Singapore. rumor has it they ain't bringing it back anymore. I am so sad :( 'cause I've heard really good stuff about this foundation and I really wanna try it too. It's looks awesome (Y) But I think the only way to get it is through online shopping - ebay or whatever - or umm, if you're going overseas.
@ewanfanatic88 it preps your skin for the foundation, it mattifies the oil on your skin and slightly fills in fine lines, and therefore the foundation applies on very beautiful and even.
I love this stuff!!! I have the chocoloate dark color. I love this mousse because I have super oily skin but it has an airbrush-look to it. I recommend it:).
Its amazing. Ive used it for about 3 years now (I'm 18). I've tried expensive foundations but I always come back to it. I don't like liquid foundation so this is perfect
I don't like wearing foundation but I decided to try this one and i LOVE IT!! I don't need very much coverage and I have oily skin so its perfect for me
Do not use matte mousse if you have dry skin, it looks like your skin is getting ripped off even you used moisturizer. Also has silicon and such = blocks pores = pimples.
Thanks. I was wondering how you apply the mousse formulations. I've used the powder you showed in the past and was very satisfied with it. I just never bought a foundation to go with it.
yes its better applying it with a brush because it covers the spots that you don't really see when you use yor fingers and sometimes you have bacteria on fingers so I do it with a brush for 4 months now and its awesome
@lolly6pat i actually use a foundation brush and works very well!! :)) what i do is use this with a foundation brush and just go over it with my hands after to make it all even. or if u wanna save that trouble u can use a stippling brush it works great! :))
Same. I really liked this foundation at first but it broke me out really bad and the coverage is too thick for me. which makes me sad cuz I really liked the concept. :(
its dream matt mousse i use it but i need to add moisturiser because its sort off wet powderryy sorta but they got a new one out now dream matt cream its got less powderr
@MsAshleyCrim , i have oily skin as well, and it actually is good if you use it in conjunction with a loose powder. without the loose powder, you will find your skin to be slightly greasy by the end of the day (i'm talking about 16 hours of wearing it) , but not excessively. so the loose powder really helps you avoid that greasiness.
OMG yes! I have SUPER oily skin, I usually use Clinique Super Balanced,Clinique Barely There, Mac studio finish powder and Mac studio fix liquid. These ALL make me oily about 3-4 hours after applying, shine like you wouldint believe! And the dream matte mousse, for me absorbs everything :) Its soooo much less expensives! Compared to 30-40$
my friend has oily skin and she uses it aswell as me, i love it. its lasts for ages and you can apply it almost any way you want. it does a good job covering but if you have dry skin on parts of your face i wouldnt reccomend as it makes it stand out. x
hey I got this Foundation like a week ago but every time i use i it it seems like it melts off my face. I wear glasses so it gets on that. But this stuff does actually cover what i need to cover. Got any advice to fix the melting. thanx
i find that when i use my matte mousse it does show, because it looks a bit bubbly and you can tell its there. can anyone give me any advice on how to prevent this?
Wow...u like this foundation girl? Shooo it don't do right by me at all!!! Melts offa my face in like 5 minutes and the color changes. HArd to find foundations GOOD ONES for women of color. But if it works for you than I am happy for you!!
i just got this today, i have pretty bad acne and oily skin and even without powder it's made my skin look nearly flawless, it's the best foundation i've used as it's so light and when you rub it in you don't look caked in foundation.
i bought fawn and sand im from the uk and i got it for like £6.50 each.! Brilliant but i have to use shea butter as a base as it really drys my skin out
i use the Dream matte mousse and i also find that you need to re apply it throughout the day, in my city it is not that warm but i find that it gets a little powdery after a while and it rubs off onto clothes hands cellphones... etc. but i do agrtee that it is an amazing foundation!!! I RECCOMEND IT!
I want to buy this foundation because I have oily skin and I need good coverage for old acne scarring and redness, but I'm wondering if it's similar to MAC Studio Tech? It doesn't stay matte on my skin throughout the day but I love the coverage, and I was thinking the Maybelline would give similar coverage but would keep my face matte.
