This is an indicator that we all should stop speculating in real estate which is really just land speculation. Speculating in land value is the game of parasites since all that happens is the price goes up for the same piece of land no more useful than it was before. The way to stop this silly game is to tax land values heavily while eliminating taxes on improvements. This is also the best way to pay for public services all of which increase land value. Lehman Brothers, how blind and stupid.
