Oudin is the future. This girl will definitely become the next Justine Henin on the court and win a number of slams. Oudin is better in this match than Maria who committed too many double faults. After LA open, I thought she would start working on her serves but she got lazy and incompetent. The old maria should've won, but the new maria is just pathetic. Not only her serve was bad, but she also got too many unforce errors. If she can't return to her old self, don't even bother coming back.

The reason for the grunting is because it impairs the other player to hear the sound of the ball hitting the racket. That drown out that sound so you can't hear if it's coming back with topspin or being spliced. It is noncompetitive....
