I don't remember what country that bats are in, but I do know that they would usually bite the tip of a person's finger as they slept (a lot of people's hands dangle off their beds) and then just drink the blood as if it were one of those water containers for hamsters. Oh another factoid to up their fear factor, they carry a coagulant in their saliva.
