I'm trying my hand at this for the first time this year.... will I EVER be as good as you are? lol Probably not. But wow... amazing work. LOOOVE it. And thanks for posting all these videos!
@autumnwhispers2me Thank you so much for the kind comment. I appreciate it! That's very cool that you're trying mache. I'm sure your corpses will look great!
It's taken me a few years to develop the style and technique I'm currently using. Even so, I think the result I get with mache has more to do with just being patient and persistent when working with the towels than it does with anything else :0)
Please keep me posted on your props and have a great Halloween.
@momentofsciencetx Thank you. The large skull that I'm using for the Angel of Death came from Party City - not sure if you have those in your area, but they're a chain here in New Mexico. The groundbreaker skulls came from Walgreens.
@SeasonofShadows yeah we have party city here in Dallas. Currently have two large halloween stores opening up across from each other where I live. Spirit and Halloween. Thanks
@momentofsciencetx No problem. Hope they have the skulls. Some years they carry them and some they don't. Also, if you have a Big Lots, they might carry them, too.
cooooooooooooooooooooooooool!

@SeasonofShadows I was on your website and your ground breakers are amazing. May I ask were you get the skulls from that you use. Thanks

@SeasonofShadows Thanks a lot. Now I have to figure out how pumpkinrot makes those amazing pumpkin heads, they look so real.
