I think it was to personify the music cuz in the bathroom kinda makes everythng louder than it really is cuz the shower/ bathtub or an kinda hollowed out area reflects the sound waves more and its a smaller area so yeah everything IS louder. :] i have experiance.. never ever play an out of tune guyitar really loud in the rest room haha XD
