  • Man, people sure knew how to dress back then.

  • It's agreat clip. Buster had to fight to keep it in the film. The producers wanted to cut it.

  • @tgreywolfe1 Leave it to MGM or whoever, they just don't know what's good when they see it.

  • genius with the chair

  • How DID she get that dress ON!? :D Poor Buster and the mysteries of women's gowns.

  • Brilliant! Never saw this scene before.

  • Gee, imagine if he just found some cold water and some hot coffee.

  • Shit, if she was that drunk I'd just shag her.

  • @arceface - He was supposed to be married to her. What fun would THAT be?

  • @WSenator1 The fun would be that she would wake up with a headache and a chafing vaj. wondering what happened last night.

  • @arceface - You do have a point - or maybe, SHE'D have one as well!

  • @arceface You suck. Die in a fire and go to hell.

  • @NotADood I suck your mums tits, there is a low risk of fire in my house and hell isn't real, nor is heaven, the devil or god. Good day sir.

  • @arceface Rapists should all have their dicks chucked into a big meat grinder and fed to rats.

  • @NotADood It's not rape, it's just forgettable sex.

  • I THINK this is fake... But I dunno...

  • @Harpomarx1459 why?

  • @Harpomarx1459 like the other dude why? Buster was the best and could do almost everything.

  • @keaton1895 I said I THINK... and you're RIGHT! HE COULD DO ALMOST EVERYTHING!!!

  • @FlippinBooks: The reason there's the laughter at the beginning is because this movie was "part silent". Spite Marriage had a synchronized soundtrack and sound effects, but no dialogue.

  • HILARIOUS! Buster Keaton never fails to make me laugh.

Speaking of which, why the heck is there a laugh track at the beginning of the clip? O_o

  • Credit here has to go to his co star, She made this bit. I wonder how many takes they needed, due to corpsing?

  • @clouddancin9, @LieutenantSparkles,@ubermom, @jdeppluver1599: I think I figured out Buster Keaton's appeal to us ladies: it's because of his rare level of sheer adorable-ness. Seriously, the only way that guy could get any cuter was if he was holding a puppy in each arm!

  • @MissGoldenDreams13 Oh totally, I have to agree, and I NEVER say this about anybody, he IS just SO adorable! He's just...I don't know, watching him it's just so easy to just fall in love with seeing him, he's so cute.

  • this is so charming. Love it. It's one of the most romantic slapsticks i have ever seem.

  • Dear God that was funny. I don't know who I like more of the Big Three, Chaplin Keaton or Lloyd, but Keaton will definitely always hold a special place for me. XD

  • @BigMcLargeHuge100 Buster Keaton is my favorite. I was big on Charlie Chaplin for many years, I still like his work, but Buster is my favorite, and I think part of it is we can relate to him more, he's more blue collar working class, whereas Charlie was the poor tramp always trying to get by and always trying to get enough to eat, but Buster's situations seem more like something that we could find ourselves in.

  • Mm-hmm. I wouldn't mind being her.

  • @jdeppluver1599 I wouldn't mind being her either!

  • That is freaking hilarious! I couldn't stop laughing!

  • 1:25 that was actually pretty clever :D

But I died laughing at the end.

    I love these clips.

  • How I'd love to trade places with her! Buster could manhandle me all he wanted!

  • Amen!

  • @ubermom I'm glad I'm not the only one!

  • @ubermom I have to agree, I'd love being in that position with him, :)!!!!

  • 3:54 - 4:02 Snug as a bug in a rug, and he even remembered to kiss her goodnight, ya gotta love it!

  • This is real funny. Who is playing his wife? This was a great peice of 2oth century entertainment!

  • Her name is Dorothy Sebastian, and she ended up being his mistress for two years. I guess they got along REALLY well.

  • @ubermom not just two years but off and on all thru the 30's.
