John McCain will say and do anything to win an election, he flip flops like a fish out of water. If congress agrees to off shore drilling, then who gets the oil that is out there? THE SAME OIL COMPANIES THAT ARE CHARGING US $4.50 A GALLON!

This is typical of presidential wannabes promising things they can never deliver. America consumes way too much oil everyday to supply our own needs, even letting the oil companies drill anywhere they want. The only way America can be truly independent of foriegn oil is to develop the technology that makes all oil obsolete. Its no wonder that w/Bush allowing the oil companies run America's energy policies that no real progress has been made in developing that technology that would destroy them.
