  • to give people that don't know about the great traffic in atlanta do it around 4.lolyou can get 15 minutes of just 1 building.

  • Ain't that the truth!

  • I was in Duluth yesterday. I go up about 3 times a year. Im thinking of moving there from small town life in Hinesville,GA.

You should have used the original DEUCE by KISS!! lol

  • Construction on that stretch seems much as I recall it from '05 & '06.

heading back to Pennsylvania, December 23, 2005, it took 3 hours to make 45 miles given that I'd not started out before the afternoon rush.

Great job Jim. I really admire your thoroughness and taking the pains to give details.

    Thanks again.

  • What did you use before Final Cut Express 4?

  • iMovie 6

  • I had a classmate at Georgia Tech from Sri Lanka who loved that Marta bridge over I-85 at 0:50. He said he wished they would have built it with a loop in it, like a ride at Six Flags!

  • Did you goto Discovery mills?

  • Not on this trip but I have many times

  • Pretty bad when the HOV traffic is going slower than you.

  • Haha, I agree with you there!

  • Don't forget to stop at Fry's Electronics. :)

  • One of my favorite stores :)

  • but i would be gettin off at exit 106 to go home. i live right around the corner from there. thats cool!

  • i used to live in duluth. cool vido.

  • Another great video, Jim. And Lenny Kravitz covering KISS, as well. Good choice of music bed.

  • Nice video, you should do one from the airport up I-85/I-75 through Buckhead / GA-400 and Sandy Springs (King / Queen Towers).

  • I love Spaghettit junction in Hotlanta. Smaller version of it in Richmond, Va

  • Dang, your videos rock, Jim.

You never cease to impress me. :)

  • Great driving Jim, you get through traffic pretty well if I do say so myself! Good to see you back on the road.

  • Great videos brother. Great stuff. I think you will do just fine with the new software. !!

  • I like your video but not your song to many yeahs.

  • Wow, great video and awesome music choice. It looks a lot smoother than the older videos. :)

  • Awesome video! I wish MN had highways like that. We cant seem to let go of the cloverleaf interchange design.

  • Great work. I agree with prfsnlwannabe... prefer the fonts from your other vids, but I'm sure you'll work that out. But heaps better than what I can achieve on MS movie maker (boring!)

"Counties": are these your local council districts? We call them Shires or Cities in Oz Eg. Mareeba Shire, City of Cairns.

  • Yes, counties are pretty much local districts, glad you liked the video.

  • I am thinking about doin similar videos that ur doin. but with mine im gonna put the camera in the back window and reverse the video on my computer. So as a result it will look like we are going the wrong way on the highway. lol

  • Another great video. I think final cut make your videos a little sharper. However I do like your prevous intro better. Keep up with the great videos

  • Thank You!

I'll probably make a whole new intro when I get time, this program is far more graphically superior and flexible than iMovie 6 is. I personally love the opaque band on the lower 1/3 of the screen.

  • Is this Lenny Kravitz song off his new album that he just released? I sorta am a fan of him, and am pretty certain I haven't heard this song before.

New program is interesting too, albeit I like the look of the font from your info graphics better from your old videos. Hopefully, you can find a font closer to the one from your old vids(and I know you're still trying to learn the outs of this program), but not looking too bad otherwise!

  • The Font: This is a new computer so I forgot to install the font I always use(Bluehighways) before I did the video, It's in now :) This program is a huge step up from what I was using so it'll take a little time to get up to speed with it.

That Lenny Kravitz song is old, it's from the "Kiss My Ass: Tribute to Kiss" CD which came out years ago. That's his only song on there, probably easy to fins.

  • Looking at these videos makes me appreciate the Southeast more and more. I'm originally from NC, so this is really cool stuff. God bless you. :-)

  • Thank you, I'm glad you enjoy them!

  • I like these videos. Nice work. I may do some for Dallas.
