I used to do highland dancing, but then i switched over to hockey. I love both, but my scottish soul screams "WHY DID YOU STOP?!" every time i watch highland dancing, or hear the bagpipes. Now i can't even do the fling! I miss it soooo much! oh and this is soooo good! great job peoples!
The theme of the show is great! How original. I would also like to add that the "now" dancer on the left with the dark colored kilt really stood out to me as a good dancer- the only thing I could see she would need work on is her turnout. Good job!
I dance with these girls and the reason they are not keeping their feet tight is because they are supposed to be dancing the way it was in the past Competitive highland dancing wasn't alwys like it is now. The theme of our show was the history of highland dancing and we were trying to show that.

Whatever happened to punctuation and sentences without abbreviation? English is supposed to be a language, not a horrifying mixture of letters and numbers, take it from someone who has spoken it for 19 years.

Anyway, I take dance lessons and I don't flip out when people aren't as good as I am (even though I'm not that good) so..."Miss Pro.", as BambiEyez0 called her, CHILL OUT, GIRL! It will be okay! The sun will come out tomorrow. Kittens with still run happily through the fields. The world will not end if some dancers have to practice more at keeping their feet tight!
That's a brilliant video. Well done. Ignore that comment above about keeping your feet tight etc. Dancing isn't about perfection all the time for everyone.
