  • Now we've given the camouflage to our tame racing driver.

Some say he has no heat signature... naturally

Others think he once shot a man three times with a single bullet

All we know is, he's called the Stig!

  • How do they block out the thermal signature? Tell me more.

  • wheres part 2:P

  • Hello Chaps.

  • Typical cocksucking military jackoff who's developed a chip on his shoulder against civvies. Doesn't help that he's a fucking limey.

  • @ComfortablyMuffin get a grip of yourself.

  • @DANIELSUTCLIFFE ...Okay. I'm cool. *huff* *huff*

  • @ComfortablyMuffin hey fun fact, did you know where the word limey came from? back in the day when everyone got around on big ass ships (think pirates) the british navy were the only sailors who didnt get scurvy (a disease from lack of vitamin c, sailors at sea for months with only fish to eat would get it, it kills you), cause the brits were all made to eat lime every day, with their rations. when people heard this, they started calling the brits 'limeys'. just a fun fact! :)

  • @theophilis Hmmm. Your anti-troll kung-fu is strong!

  • The basic concept of camouflage hasnt changed since the very earliest battlefields. No shit seems as its only function is to conceal

  • Just cover yourself in mud and hide under some tree roots.

    It even tricks predators.

  • The gay people are going to redefine how the military men put on make up...

  • where can i watch the whole thing online please tell me ???

  • mmm... that explain the hair of chewaka

  • Great lesson. Escaping thermal imaging is fun : )

  • y does captain slow get to do all the fun stuff

  • all this stuff u would get taught in cadets

  • To good. Nice one:)

  • I invented camouflage!

Before anyone says anything I also invented the counter argument backed by masses of historical evidence and will expect royalties if you use it.

  • I WANNA KNOW HOW TO CAMOFLAUGE BIGGER STUFF GOD DAMNIT

  • @Eliten13337

yeah it would be nice if there was a vid of that!

  • MAN CONTACT! xD

  • im suprised they didnt mention the first use of camo by any army was the germans in WWII

  • @TheStgmp44 nooooo.... completely wrong. camouflaging was developed long before the germans introduced camouflage patterned clothing.

  • @xfinchx well tell us what army had camo issused befor the germans then.

  • @TheStgmp44 British army in the Napoleonic war for a start.. riflemen wore green tunics.

  • @xfinchx they may of worn green but thats not camo is it,which this conversation is about.try again

  • @TheStgmp44 which was an early stab at concealment....

so you've worked with the sbs have you? and the sa80 takes a paint round does it... ya fuckin' lizard. go and bomb up some bb's for yer saturday morning shootout ya sad twat

fourth word in the first section battle drill... go:

  • @xfinchx have you ever trained with the SBS or used simunition ? i dought it.ill take a stab at your into BB as you brought it up.as for me i would sooner shoot one of my many real fire arms (M4,SIG552,K98 just to name a few) im lucky as we have decent fire arms laws in Jersey unlike the rest of the U.K. so we get to own semi-automatics but are allowed to use fully-automatics when training the armed forces.

oh and green still doesnt mean camoflage

  • @TheStgmp44 listen mate, if you'd trained with sf, they wouldn't be giving you an IW.

into bb's..? nah, check my profile. im more into a proper two way range if you know what i mean. but you trained with the sbs, so you must do eh?!!

i don't give a fuck what laws you have in jersey.

you don't train with the armed forces...your a fantasist. if you had any sort of relationship to an sf unit, you wouldn't be gobbing it on fucking youtube.

lastly, your camouflage counter-argument screams stupidity.

  • @xfinchx well in that case ask any of the sf that you meet if theyve been to Jersey and trained with C.I.B.G then they can tell you what we we get up too.or contact our T/A unit as we train them too

  • @TheStgmp44 wow. your committed i'll give you that. but your so full of it. and you train the local TA unit...to do what exactly?! they're about platoon strength and about as battle hardened as a wet tissue. hit me up some time, i'll give you a heads up on what its actually like to be a soldier. best get to bed mate, you must have an airsoft meeting tomorrow surely?!

  • @xfinchx well concidering we dont have a BB site here it would be hard. ask ya CO about getting you trained in beach landing, bunker clearing/kill house,IED clearence aswell as the usual range shooting upto 1800yds with the barrett .50 or dragonov (we only have a small range)

  • @TheStgmp44 nah yer alright pal, minus the beach landings i've ticked the other boxes and then gone off to do it for real. never mind, if we ever need refresher training we know who the experts are! ied clearence haha are you for real...i really wish you could meet who you were talking to. i've had my fun with you now son, your boring me to death to be honest. you've got an active imagination haven't you!

  • @xfinchx i wish i could meet you too just to show you what i do train in.like i said ask anyone that have trained here and they will tell you.as for you laughting at the IED training, obviosly its not done with a charge but with marzipan to give off the right smell but still wired up to show how a real one works.

  • @TheStgmp44 i said i was done..but... the right smell?! you've never come within a 1000 mile radius of an ied, let alone seen one for real. marzipan... fuck me. get a grip of your fucking int. you've been caught out for walting, leave it now, the more in depth we go the more you get caught with you pants down. you know shit all, you do shit all. you are shit all.

  • @xfinchx well im glad i dont have to work with a prick like you.just coz your in the lancs dont mean you know it all as you have proved on more than one occation.so whats your job then ? latreen cleaner im guessing by the chip on your shoulder.stay safe out there as i would love you to come visit me when ya tours over just to shut you up.oh and btw theres no proof of you being in the armed forces as anyone can post footage so watch who your calling a walter

  • I loved the 'what else is out there?' 'nothing' 'frank!' and then a soldier appears!

  • i want to know how to camo bigger stuff!

  • woah he needs a haircut

  • haha gotta love the IR netting

  • LOL he's got cold blooded on

  • i can still see them lol

  • @endracismguy After you have seen the video about a hundred times i think ;)

  • 80% of what we see is created by our brain. only 20% of what we see comes through our optic nerve.

In other words, we see what we EXPECT to see.

Did you ever consider that this bush to be a camouflaged soldier with a rifle?

Did you ever trip over an unexpected obstacle in the middle of a familiar room EVEN though you were looking at where you were going?

Did you ever go on patrol for the 700th time around that same corner and did not notice a special forces operative hiding in plain sight?

  • james sounds like captain. price

  • @BlueOysterCult89085 looooooool

  • I never realised how tall May was. Solid 6 footer.

  • @godanselmo Yep, the "problem" is that Jeremy Clarkson is about 6,5 xD

  • @TrankosCL haha. I guess standing next to Hammond would make anyone look tall. I read somewhere that says May is 6'1. Always thought he was shorter.

  • @TrankosCL such as myself:P

  • @TrankosCL And Hammond is 5ft 7, same as me...

  • @TrankosCL really? thought he was same height?

  • @godanselmo yep he is tall! Same height as Kingsroad Clarkson!

  • @MovieMad007 Jeremy is 6 foot, but I'm not sure how many inches. He is quite a bit taller than May though.

  • @godanselmo oh well you learn sommat new everyday on YouTube!!! Great programme....thing is they don't make anything like enough of these type of programmes do they? I mean Ch 5 has Ice road trucks, and Eddie Stobbart, BBC2 has Engineering with Hammond and Top Gear but its usually Quest which has these programmes

  • u stuck fingered urself?!!? what a faggot

  • Man, that sucks. Thanks for sharing! No- really!

  • ok guys that was my dad with the comment below he didnt realise he was on my account and he designed the suits

    x

  • To those of you that build cameras - the suit is my invention and we did indeed test it against military cameras - thats why the army choose this type of suit

  • we need part 2!

  • He he. Those of us who actually build IR cameras can easily spot the problems with this video. But as those problems make our job easier, I'm not sure I should say too much.

Let's just say that the IR camera he's using is a very civilian one, and he quite obviously doesn't know how to use it.

  • what's army tea?

  • like normal tea but gerneral not very hot and not much flavour.

  • snipezzzz!

  • cool God bless

  • James May From Top Gear!!!

  • you can always just cover yourself in mud if you dont want to be caught on infrared. lol

  • nice vid...are these british army snipers?

  • He says, they are all ex parachute regiment, so not necceseraly snipers.

  • ah ok, thanks for the info.

  • awesome :)

  • Wow, a ghillie typed suit which blurs out infrared! Never heard, yet quite impressive!

  • Actually, most military uniforms have anti-infra red dye which attempts to block out infra-red. Mind you, it doesn't work that great, you can't put your uniform in the dryer and also after a few washes it wears off :(

    so yeah...not particularly useful

  • Ohhh... ;(

  • whats this from?

  • James May's 20th Century. It was on BBC this past summer.

  • i wanaa see the rest of it!

  • where's the rest of the video
