@MJforever3057 I HAVE noticed that Leo has been squarely represented in the series, but the amount of spotlight he recieved chimed down a little bit after 4Kids came out with epic failure, "Fast Forward", and so on and so forth. Really, I think the writers and producers found his complex character an object of dwadling with to supprt stronger concepts; moreover, the episodes were usually adaptions of the comic books, which very clearly revolved around Leo in many cases.

I honestly don't mind.

Before, they were just as powerful against the Purple Dragons without all that armor and fancy new weapons. Why do they need them now? Also, the first 4 seasons drew the plot our more and focused on certain character's needs. Now they make everything go by too quickly. There's no more raw emotions or trials that the turtles have to face, and that's what made the show in the first place. I commended 4Kids for doing a series that actually had some intensity, but now... : \

yes I agree soo much!!! I loved the raw emotion and the animation of the 03 episodes...especially towards the second season when they really done the fighting scene very well. Now, I just don't know...I wish they would rethink their whole animation and go back to the way things were for the upcoming season, if there will be one.

I myself prefer the animation from 2003, I also prefer the edgier storylines. They seemed more badass from 03 and up till the Ninja Tribunals. Kinda got a little cheesy at Fast Forward.

Too late. Nickelodeon bought the entire fracnhise, and BTTS is the last season of the 2003 series. They will air reruns on 4kids until August.

man i like seasons 1-4 more. they stayed more true to the comics, cuz the creator of tmnt had his input in it. but the whole fast forward and back to the sewers , well they just got super goofy with the show. i guess cuz many felt the show was too violent. but their turtles it supposed to be. a lot of cartoons start to suck when parents complain it's too violent for their kids. then they make the shows goofy and they get taken off the air.

Isn't that kind of why the second TMNT movie turned out the way it did? I Think I kind of remember parents crying over the first movie being too violent (hello read the rating!), which is why in the second one they made it a little more goofy and for the most part took away their weapons. I can't say it would shock me if this happen here, would just make me sad :(

I agree with prismMage about the gear.

It was pretty cool that they would wear armor in the fake alien = mutated animals story ark, but then they wore armor more often than not. Then they had a new kind of armor in FF. The cyperspace armor in BTTS, and now this.

I would just love to see them naked with their classic and iconic weapons again.

If they made the show like it was in the first 5 seasons again it would be awesome again.

The first 5 seasons got so many exciting, dark and great storys.

Fast Forward and back to the sewers are still fun to watch but they are not even close as exciting or fun as the show used to be.
