  • Can someone please tell me the name of the violin song at the beginning of each chapter?

  • All Laws from this book stems from the bible as far as I am concern. Though, most are twisted for selfish gain. The Bible is called a double edged sword it can be use for good and for manipulation(not saying he use the Bible to make this laws but these laws appeals to the canal man's way to control and manipulat). Unfortunately 90%, if not 99 are using it for the later. This book will cause more divorce, murder, bankcrucy if people do not have restraint of their greed and lust to control others.

  • Although in this immoral inequitous society, in which we must sojourn, these principles have a pedestal and a place of reverie; THANK GOD for JESUS. Strait is the gate and the path and few are them there that enter there at. Those that have ears to hear, let them hear

  • This book is absolute truth and greatly appreciated by The ones who know

  • i pawned my own bible and wanna know what replaced it ?? ...... THIS one

  • @crashman01 LOl smh wth?

  • I dont get the surrender law...did he mean choose what to surrender about or to whom...or did he mean...when you feel like you will lose, surrender before the fight? I always thought never surrender...cuz if he is a scary opponent he will suddenly think that you must be as tough if not tougher than him to not surrender...and that might make him surrender....iunno never surrender sounds more powerful lol

  • why couldnt this be the bible

  • @damonperkins1 i havent read the bible but is it subtler similar? i'm guessing you have read the bible it to an extent.

  • @maxgunn555 Law 27 is what all the religions use

  • @mitraljez

Spoken like a person who never had power...and will never experience happiness due to their powerless state...How sad for you

  • @timetodepop only thing thats sad is your comment ;)

  • If you do not know the tools the immoral use against you (while hiding under a facade of morality), you will suffer by them. Does anyone really believe the Christ did not use a higher understanding of power than all those around him? How about Moses? How about the Budhha?

    Question everything.

God helps those who help themselves.

  • Actually, giving a gun to the sheep (Republics) is the only way to keep it from being eaten by two wolves (Divine Right and its hired thugs called Nobility).

Power is amoral, just as a gun is amoral. It's usage is predicated upon the morality of the user.

    The Law...in many different iterations.

  • @xxjucabalaxx is the only book you ever read...lol. JK. I truly enjoy this book

  • the best book i 've ever read

  • @xxjucabalaxx and you may now be diagnosed as a pyschopath/sociopath.

  • @maxgunn555 don't be fool, you didn't understand the real message the book try to give.

  • @xxjucabalaxx would you mind telling me the 'real message'? i'd like to know thanks and sorry if i've misunderstood you up to now.

  • @xxjucabalaxx you are a fucking buffoon !!!!! This is the best book you have ever read. Now the world has to deal with you and your stupid type......

  • @daveyowful thanks god I'm a stupid bufoon hehehe. See you around

  • The world is ugly welcome to the truth. The 48 laws of power only touch the surface of what really goes on. The chats of love and peace are lies. The 48 laws of power and books like it are the truth. You can either use it to gain power or use it to recognize someone who is trying to play you.

  • @evil10 Don't be TOO pessimisstic. People are still moral creatures and they like fairness and mercy and all that, generally. If this were not the case and we are all psychopaths, we would not bother trying to project such rosy images.

  • to enat look at the world around with open eyes and mind and really think about your statement you made

  • this is fucking shit...

could you imagine if everyone followed these laws ... how fucking crap would society be ?

  • @enatomx I don't think Greene wanted to write a book to benefit society, just the people who read it. But maybe it would be healthier for society to understand how power actually works and what human nature is like - we would be able to adjust our laws to prevent the abuses of the powerful and make things fairer.

  • @enatomx I agree, this is totally immoral if the author is truly encouraging this. Then again, knowledge of evil and not its application (making it inert), can be used for protection (and protecting) from other who would apply it. Perhaps someone should write a book on how to counter the 48 laws of power.

  • @Jeorney there are two reasons why not. 1) it's impossible and 2) if it was possible, those trying to just defend against each individual power play will eventually become defeated due to putting up a reactive defense. Once one starts to think further than a step ahead of his attacker then BECOMES the attacker, and therefore acts EXACTLY the same way as those who try to overpower him.

even those with high moral presentation act in power plays, even more so than those they deem 'immoral'

  • @TroySpartan247 I agree reactive defense is weak, all else being equal. People can sense an attack, but often don't know how to tackle it. However, if you have awareness to detect such moves, you can alert others, making your position stronger. If your unaware, then a lot damge is inflicted. By thinking ahead and having some idea of the attackers game plan, or even force their moves. Yes you become the attacker but its not for personal gain.

  • @Jeorney touche. I do agree with your previous point; the evil is in the application, not nessisarily the knowledge.

  • Beautiful and i am on my way to part 3

  • not one ounce of lies
