  • People from Lol lol are laughing out loud.

  • Those who live in L0L0L must be proud.

  • Haha, have you seen the news? Those "orphans" the american missionaries "saved"/kidnapped, weren't orphans at all!!! Jeez, imagine the pain and agony the parents must have gone through? They probably believed their kids were dead! So I think it's a horrible shame the missionaries were released from prison, they should have spent the rest of their lives in prison.

  • Earthquakes happen because of natural geologic processes. It really has nothing to do with humans. The plates shift whether people have built structures there or not. And it's often our own stuctures that kill us when they fall in such events.

  • i now earthquakes happen naturally. but that doesnt mean we dont have the ability to create on unnaturally.

  • lolol... hahahahahh

  • Hahaha, LOLOL

  • I hope the people in Rofl were okay.

  • Believe in evolution or you're going to burn in HELL!!!!!!!1

    lol

  • lol

  • Why is this video on here? Its not like thousands of other people weren't in a different place in Chile that put them out of harms way

Obviously this is just addressing the theist audience as some sort of miracle. Which makes so much sense because you know im sure their god loved them so much more than the other thousands of ppl he could've saved

  • i don't think u should be so critical. god had a plan for everyone that day. for some, it was their time, and others, were bound together and saved by a baby. it just goes to show specific stories of a lucky family who was saved. its not saying, fuck everyone else and praise the christian family. lol its just showing how ironic it can be that a baby who does nothing, can save people. love and light.

    -mike

  • God had a plan and it was their time huh

So the men, women, and children who died and the grief the families went through was because your god said hey on this day Im going to have a house fall on top of you because I feel you should die on that day little girl

Or you can look at it as an unfortunate freak occurrence that happened naturally because of bad chance, not because a giant force purposely took your life away as he planned to do all along

I think ill live happier believing the latter

  • listen unorthodox, i want u to look up the word linear. and now im going to tell you that my god is not linear. so therefore, we, being linear thought processing beings in the 3rd and 4th dimension, have a tough time figuring out a creature say in the 13th dimension's thought patterns. but because of the obvious existence of a life force and intelligent design, we know it is taking place. so instead of trying to make god into a type of human u can understand, try to understand that u cant know.

  • that is, u cant know everything while ur still in the 3rd and 4th dimension, but once we spiritually evolve more and discover many hidden things inside all of us, we will start to be able to conceive more information about the design because we will be able to vibrationally tune up and go to the high dimensions where more can be perceived. from there we will understand how all the negative setbacks allowed us to take control back over our planet. the earthquakes in haiti and chili are haarp.

  • and haarp is also responsible for the earthquake in china. what appears to be god like, is in fact only a super device able of charging the ionosphere, and targeting ground below at any depth.these people i believe are part of this dark Kabul who have created fear and separation on this planet for a long time. i would go on but i g2g. feel free to ask me anything regarding to this and id happily explain more to u.

  • excuse that bit of arrogance i admit i started talking to u a bit ticked off.

  • Im aware of what linear means dont be so arrogant

The only obvious existence of a life force is our own and there is no proof at all for intelligent design therefore you don't know what is taking place

I do try to understand wht I don't know, and in doing so when I hit a subject I can't explain ive found it irrational to make claims of it being the will of some giant omniscient force to which there is no backing

  • @ridingboy , u disgust me more i guess ;O the child that u speak of, that lost of two legs, im sure there's a reason why that happen, get ur facts about how's the family like then talk about it again [;

  • wow and btw

    chile is absolutely beautiful

  • this is not a story. it hurts those who were less lucky. and it has nothing to do with their superstitions.

  • Something tells me that National Geographic wouldn't be running this story if it was an outdoors orgy that brought the people outsise. ;D

Also, correct title: "Being outside saves people from Earthquake"

  • A goodie.

Two freaking disasters in one year.

    First Hati, and now Chile.

    Just great...

  • Wow!, ive learnt sumthin i found interesting!

'lolol'; is a place in chile xD

  • It's a miracle! God is great!

Oh wait, silly me, he let the earthquake kill hundreds of people in the first place.

  • lol you ol from lolol

  • ahahahah "LOLOL" XD

  • the earthquake that hit chile is a signal of the huge changes will be occure in the next months for all over the world.

chile will be an of the safest places in the earth at that moment

  • test

  • Amen.

  • idiot. SHUT UP

  • Amen. Fuck FAce.

  • and that's the result of faith. great story

  • moron

  • its funny... chile's earthquake was way worst then Haiti.. yet companies and the US dont want to donate money... i wonder why... and dont tell me that chile's infrastructure is better... thats a load of crap..

  • @doh11 Government barriers.

  • yea barriers and i really like it when the US says they hate socialism and communism... when the US is supporting it.. has anyone ever checked the back of toys tools etc... made in china... china =communism... yea....

  • I never thought of it that way thanks

  • @doh11 you are really ignorant, Chile is denying aid you twit. That is why the US is not helping, not because we don't want to, but rather Chile doesn't want it.

  • and you must be really dumb to believe that...

  • @doh11 oh my bad for not believing in ignorant conservative conspiracies:p

  • lolol

  • Praise God.

  • IDIOT

  • Youtube is just full of intelligent people like you with smart replies like that.

    Wow.

  • @ MylesRodgers: You are a heartless, cynical human being. Why did your "god" let happen the earthquake in the first place? Fuck "god".

  • Read the Bible, it tells you why.

The creation waits in eager expectation for the sons of God to be revealed. For the creation was subjected to frustration, not by its own choice, but by the will of the one who subjected it, in hope that the creation itself will be liberated from its bondage to decay and brought into the glorious freedom of the children of God. - Romans 8:19-21

Natural disasters cause millions of people to reevaluate their priorities in life.

  • "Natural disasters cause millions of people to reevaluate their priorities in life."

Explain this a two year old child who lost its legs before it started to use them!

Explain this to a mother who lost her child!

You and your little scripture disgust me. Go away.

  • God created us with free will. We can find Him or deny Him, and we chose to disobey. We live in a fallen creation. He said these terrible things would happen if we disobeyed and they are happening.

It is terrible. Horrible, horrible things have happened in my family but we know God is real and He loves us. We have found Him and are saved by His grace.

I hope you find Him and love Him, He loves you.

  • sry but god doesnt just take some V.I.P passes. he accepts everyone, and u have no right telling people we live in a failed creation, and are a bunch of sinners. u act like god is a abusive father who says, "ill beat u if u do that!" BUT HE LOOOOOOOOVES YOU!!!!!!!!!!!

  • HE LOVES YOU RIGHT? BUT hes wants to beat the living shit out of u. yea thats a god u should start telling everyone about. lets start spreading as much fear as we can. instead of realizing how we are all interconnected and no one is left out because we are all perfect images of god created in his reflection. leave out the bullshit and keep the positive and u might have something.

  • I thumbed up your comment Eagle, even though I don't totally agree. There are many positive aspects of religion, and it's OK to highlight them. Theists constantly speak just as you described and it's great to see someone like you disparaging such behavior.

But on the other hand, is it really honest to just pick and choose the parts of religion you agree with? The views you are criticizing are fully supported by the bible, just the same as the positive values you are endorsing.

  • 1:57 i spy cartman

  • No home insurance?

    Hope they have car insurance.

  • No home insurance ?

    Hope they have car insurance...

The brick buildings are among the most dangerous but the wood framed homes will hold up the best in an earthquake.

  • lolol

  • I want to live in a town called Lolol. Where you from? LOLOL! jerk...

  • @RgZspotA

... Not if you don't want to...

    We could talk about Glee.

  • everyone hates you, go die on a corner...

  • The more appropriate title for this video is " Partying outside saves Chile Family"

  • LoLoL :D

  • i love how religious ppl are all ooo this is a miracle, but completely ignore the fact that a butt load of people died, they find the one thing where someone lives and thats a miracle, its pathetic.

  • dont thumb him down you religious morons :D

  • I'm religious and I don't think it's a miracle in the slighest.

Being in the right place at the right time hardly something special in my opinion.

  • i guess thats where u would ask urself, is there such thing as coincidence? or is it luck? or is it divine? is every second divine? are our choices still free will but never the less meant to be?

    namaste

  • LOLLOL :D

  • This is a good story.

  • LoLoL

  • LOLOLOL

  • You know death is sad, but it's also a part of life. And the population of earth is too high. The ecosystems and food supplies will collapse under human population explosion.

  • LOLOL that has to be a joke

  • LoLoL!

  • Moral of the story is dont be indoors or at church when people are partying outside.

  • Jesus loves u!

He died for u, live for HIM.

"But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."

    ~ Romans 5:8

"For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."

    ~ Romans 10:13

  • ROFLROFL

  • LOL! the town is named LolLol LOL!

  • Thumbs up for LOLOL!!!!

  • Poor people

  • This was by complete chance that they survived. They were in the right place at the right time. The fact there was a baptism going on didn't change anything.

However, people who say "read some science" clearly are lacking in the process themselves. Earthquakes and volcanoes have sculpted our landscape to make it inhabitable for us, and thousands of other animals to live on.

  • Haha! So it's "God"/"Santa" who's made this world "inhabitable for us"? Hehe, why the long wait, why the 9 billion years following the Big Bang 13.7 billion years ago until life started eolving here? And why all this random, crazy shit like 5 mass-extinctions so far and so on before our species evolved? Does he have some weird sense of humour or something? I bet you know, cause you've made your imaginary friend in the sky yourself, so tell me: Why didn't he just create us if we were the point?:)

  • "10 billion years" is more correct for how long it took from the BB until abiogenesis happened on Earth. A typo there.: )

  • Hehe, yeah that is a geat name for a town!: )

  • LOL LOLOL LOL!

  • LOLOL

  • This is the kind of thing theists are always forced to resort to as "proof" of miracles...they always forget the destruction everywhere else.

If a god - whether Jesus, Allah, Brahma, or even the Flying Spaghetti Monster - existed and had ensured the safety of this family, that means they also allowed (or even caused) this earthquake.

  • OH PLEASE. You have to be kidding me. Because they were celebrating a baptism they were saved, ooh ahh. They could have been celebrating a birthday party outside and they still would have lived.

  • lolol

  • fuck god XD

  • yeah tis so obvious - reading science - no god hahaha

  • Lol nobodys going to listen, i've made comments like that many times and all you get is an angry Jesus fan

  • that is just your opinion, not all think so

  • Well since I'm not God, I can't tell you the answer to everything. But I can tell you it's pretty odd ANYTHING actually exists eh?

The chemicals we are made of were cooked up in giant nuclear furnaces - stars - bigger than our sun. Because gravity is a weak force, these stars took thousands of millions of years to form and to make elements.

I'm not afraid of science, it's beautiful.

  • @winterstellar We all have our beliefs and disbeliefs

  • feetsmeller. Yes, and some of them are superior because the "beliefs"/knowledge is founded on scientific facts, i.e reality, whilst other beliefs are founded on the fantasies of ancient bronze-age goatherders' fantasies, the fantasies of people who believed the Earth was flat and small enough to be flooded completely by a rain-storm, people who actually believed their elders' fairytales and who didn't have any science or real, factual knowledge. Sure, the two are equally likely, haha! Jeez! : )

  • Thousands of years later, and the latest theories now are the string theory and the multiverse theory. We understand somethings now. That's all your saying.

Were there not any atheists in the past? Science has been advancing all well and good now. Doesn't the fact the Vatican has an observatory say anything to you? Why are there 1 billion Christians in the world in this age where we "know everything"?

"Religion without science is lame, science without religion is blind" - Albert Einstein

  • The believers don't "know everything", the countries in the world with the highest percentages of christians are also the poorest, least educated and have the lowest average IQs. The countries with the least believers are all ranked at the top of all good statistics, on the other hand. They have the least crime, the highest standard of living, level of education, average IQ, employment and so on and so on. No wonder you don't find many christians there, because you have to be tarded to believe:)

  • @winterstellar Please show your sources for such a claim ? Can you provide at least 5 indepent studies that even say that you are correct ?

  • LOLOL

  • LOLOL!! indeed

  • so sad

  • I want to live in LOLOL

    LOL!

  • lmfao

  • @hoops886 fag

  • @hoops886

i think we all do already! LOLOL!!!!!! LOL!!! AHHAHAAH

now we just need a " WTF " town ahhahahah

  • that earthquake was horrible... i live in argentina and i spent 4 days without knowing if my mom was okay... gof bless nothing happened to her.

im so sorry for all the victims' families.

  • moron

  • @12zuzus Where was God when the other thousands died?

  • thats an easy one. Just read the Bible, it tells you in there that the wicked shall not live out half their days, or something along the lines of that. I can't quote it right now. He obviously allowed the devil to take out the wicked and he saved the rest, this family included.

  • lol good people don't die in natural disasters? I hope you are being sarcastic... Innocent children died in that earthquake, that's pretty disgusting you would refer to them as "wicked"

  • And you are telling me that this is a "morally good" thing to believe? That INNOCENT CHILDREN can die horrible deaths in natural disasters because their parents made some poor decisions? This is what is right? Because it is in the Bible?

  • @brainfoodlunch It's apparent that your a non believer, and there's nothing wrong with that. I believe what I believe and you believe what you believe, end of story. Unlike those jesus Freaks that run mega church cults, I'm not going to try and make you see my point. If you think religion is crazy, then why bother asking for my explanation?

  • "You'RE a non believer"

    Whoa! What tipped you off!?

    "nothing wrong with that"

Clearly, I'm not the one advocating death and suffering to innocent children.

"I won't make you see my point"

No, you won't. I already see your point quite clearly, thanks for not offering.

    "why bother asking"

It's important to talk about. The more it's discussed, the more people realize how crazy fucked up insane your beliefs are. Thank you for helping me to further my goal of spreading logic and reason.

  • @brainfoodlunch who cares what I believe, it doesn't have any effect on your's or anybody else's life. I simply voiced an opinion. I personally don't give two shits what your beliefs are, as they don't directly effect me in any way. you should really start to look at things face value and ask yourself "what is it worth, how does it effect me" before you go trying to defend anything. Anyways I'm glad to have been of service.

  • @piperpilot26 I'm not attacking you personally, I'm sure you're a swell guy. But this madness you defend DOES have negative effects on peoples lives and that is why I am critical of it.

If you don't like people picking on your religion don't bother trying to defend it's vile, abhorrent aspects online because someone like me is going to call you out every time.

  • @brainfoodlunch I'm not sure I understand how my beliefs directly effect other people's lives, as I'm not forcing my views on every person I meet. I'm pretty sure just stating my beliefs isn't going to effect anybody. For instance, If I say that I truly believe that the Sky is red and not blue, how is that going to effect you. Your still going to carry on living, your still going to have to work and pay bills. Most importantly, your still going to believe that the sky is blue.

  • @piperpilot26 As The color of the sky has no moral implications and can be directly observed by anyone with eyes that see. You're not going to fool anyone but you might fool someone on the fence about your religion and that DOES have moral implications which can be (and often ARE) quite severe. Lives get ruined by religious bigotry every single day. This is what I aim to prevent.

  • I'm not trying to fool anybody. I'm just simply stating my opinion/views, if somebody chooses to believe it then thats there choice. You have to remember, people have to ability to think for themselves, they should be able to take multiple opinion/views from other people, compair it to their own morals and beliefs and then come up with a conclusion as to what they think is wrong or right. If they're unable to do so then thats their problem. I'm not cramming my beliefs down anybodies throat.

  • "I'm not trying to fool anybody"

And I've made no such accusation.

"I'm just simply stating my opinion/views"

    Great, me too!

"people have to ability to think for themselves"

Yes, but it helps to see both sides of the issue. That's where people with opposing viewpoints, like me, come in!

  • You're sitting here advocating people's right to decide for themselves but at the same time questioning the validity of me questioning your beliefs. Sorry, but asking questions is an important part of making informed, rational decisions. I'm just making sure people see both sides of this issue. If you say that's wrong you're a hypocrite.

  • Again, this has nothing to do with you personally. You just happened to try to justify something reprehensible. that was merely an easy in for me to attack the religion that controls your thinking and causes you to say such bullshit. It's not your fault your mind is utterly warped, how could it be? No one would ever willingly ask for such a thing, it just happens. Usually from a young age or in a time of suffering or need.

My only goal here is to make sure more people don't end up like you.

  • "I'm not going to defend my postition"

You CANT defend your position! You gave it a good shot but warped morals are always indefensible.

"I don't care about anybody but myself"

    No kidding...

    "You can continue writing messages"

No I can't, you blocked me haha

  • Answer me!

  • taking care of the people that died. And giving strength to others on earth. He has nothing to do with disasters, especially natural ones. That's why we need to live a good life, have fun, take risk, and appreciate what we have and mostly who we have in our life. This is the physical world, where shit happens lol. The spiritual world is a total different thing.

  • man people love t attack religions so damn much they dont even take the time to consider these things

    thanks for posting that

  • @12zuzus then he killed all those other people

    it's just coincidence lol

  • @12zuzus Give me a break

  • why the fucking hell is this -11???
