I've probably already said this, but this song reminds me of a friend who has been struggling for the longest time. First, he underwent a time of abuse from a family member. Then, he had a tumor. Now, he has been diagnosed with OCD and Bipolar disorder. He barely has a home (he's been staying with multiple friends), and he's never really happy with life. I get scared that I'll lose him. This song would explain my emotions if he died, I feel like.

Quite honestly, in my opinion, Pink has to be one of the most influential singer/song writer I've ever listened to. For quite some time I was majorly depressed, even on the verge of suicide. I had written a note and everything. After listening to this song I realized what my actions could do to the people that I loved and loved me back. I still start crying to this day when I remember what could have happened. Thank you Pink.

Like I said, its I'd punch them a mile the first time around, but the video says I'd punch them a mile, but the second time round it is I'd punch them out. I know the lyrics and Im not hating, I just dislike seeing the lyrics done wrong to this beautiful song!

I've probably already said this, but this song reminds me of a friend who has been struggling for the longest time. First, he underwent a time of abuse from a family member. Then, he had a tumor. Now, he has been diagnosed with OCD and Bipolar disorder. He barely has a home (he's been staying with multiple friends), and he's never really happy with life. I get scared that I'll lose him. This song would explain my emotions if he died, I feel like.

this song always makes me cry. it reminds me of a friend/role model who went away to college. she said she would always be here for me, and we could always hang out and talk and skype when she was at college. everyone said she was going to completely forget about me when she left. i was always like, "bullshit, she doesn't lie. she said she would always be here." i knew better cuz she said forever and ever... who knew? that last hug, i'll cherish until we meet again...

Quite honestly, in my opinion, Pink has to be one of the most influential singer/song writer I've ever listened to. For quite some time I was majorly depressed, even on the verge of suicide. I had written a note and everything. After listening to this song I realized what my actions could do to the people that I loved and loved me back. I still start crying to this day when I remember what could have happened. Thank you Pink.

@KMalone101 Same, reminds me of my ex. I've moved on now but I still miss him because we went through over 3 and a half years together in a long distance relationship. He's all I knew from when I was 14 until 18 to be honest. I've found so much better in my current boyfriend but I can't help myself missing my ex because I convinced myself it would last forever even though all my friends told me it wouldn't.

I don't interpret this song as a breakup song. I think of it as a love song. My mom caught me staying the night at my boyfriend's house because I couldn't stand being around her. I didn't get to see him often because he lived a good 45 minutes away. She blocked his number from my phone and won't let me talk or see him until summer begins. I have him on my facebook and we exchange a few words a day. I miss him so much, and I know that this challenge is just making us stronger. I love and miss you

@mckena135 People can interpret songs diffrently than others. For Pink It's for a dead friend, for me it's a missed love, for someone else it may be for the one who broke their heart. And the reason I said I don't interpret it as a breakup song is because that's what everyone was talking about. Thanks for informing me though .

According to an article interview of Pink, she lost her male friend to a drug overdose when she was 14 years old. Anyone who knows the background of Pink knows that she was a lot of a bad girl growing up . So she did a lot of drugs, and so did her friends. This song is one of those cases where one of her friends actually died from OD'ing.
