ok after you wash ur head with vinger or olive oil take a shower then tey die and after tht take a comb and and a bowl of water outside and comb ur hair slowley after everytime u comb ur hair put the comb in the bowl and then the lice well float on top of the bowl..

there is a special spray you just spray it on your hair , cover your hair for 30 mins and then comb your hair using a metal lice comb IT WORKS REALLY FAST and you will get rid of them in one day !! but re-check your hair after 5 days ,, it works

Headrin, is the only non prescription lice removal that I have found works, because it is not a chemical, it is an oil based formula that drowns the lice, according to the package. Most people I know swear by tea tree oil to prevent lice, because lice don't like the scent, so they say.

Hair spray is sticky - I use it to spray on flying wasps and such to stick their wings together so I can kill them easier with less chance of being stung... I can't imagine lice falling out of your hair because you sprayed hair spray in your hair...

After someone washes their hair, check them out... You will find that the hair directly next to the scalp is nearly dry due to the natural oils... This is where lice live...

This because, when the lice lay eggs, they use something to stick the eggs down until they hatch so the eggs are glued to the hair, the "glue" is very weak which means you can pick the eggs out yourself but water will not do any harm.

Creme rinse (conditioner) in the hair and using a metal lice comb several times a day for 2 weeks.

put your childs or person who you are cleaning's hair in sections and go strand for strand until the whole section is clean. Do the whole head like this. Pull the nits off with your nails, (thumb and middle) and place them on a white cloth where you can see them. Do the whole head....this is easier when you do it after a treatment.

yes because in a dirty head they lay their eggs on the hair and it washes away when cleaned with the dirt or hairspray gel, that's why they encourage you put your childs hair back in a ponytail or put product in your kids hair so they can't lay eggs and infest, they wash away with the product

Actually, no.. They glue their eggs (nits) to your hair... I've cared for patients who had nasty, dirty hair and were loaded with nits to the point of it looking like they had a white ring around their head... Ponytails make it a little more difficult to get lice due to the hair being contained but does not eliminate the chance of getting them...

I combed through my hair w/ a lice comb and a few fell out - talk about being freaked out! Second time I had them I found during a routine check of myself (combing w/ a lice comb while bent over the sink) so I never felt them...

my kid has nits naw n shes 13 they never stay away for good its so difficult because she hates having them,she even cut her arm once because she was so upset and she says that she wishes she was a lad because they can just shave thier head but its so hard for girls. my daughter is not a selfharmer though she cut her self once with nailclippers and tweezers thankfully her cut wasn't too bad. Have her put conditioner (cream rinse) in her hair daily (or twice a day) and comb through her hair very thoroughly with a metal lice comb from root to hair end and rinse the lice comb out after each pass... If she does this daily she will rid herself of the lice within 2 weeks or so... If she can't find the source giving her the lice I'd continue to do this daily - it feels nice and is good for your hair anyway and won't cause harm...

Yeah I know it! Fortunately, we bought RID complete kit with the shampoo, removal gel, and a spray for the home in it (expensive, but worth it) and now the 9 year old is lice-free and the 4 year old only has a few nits here and there and one tiny louse that was easily killed and removed that I could find. I only found maybe 4 more nits today, so I am getting them all slowly, but surely. Good luck to you and don't sweat it...it is all part of the game of being social animals.
