They released the awful remake as a "games on demand" game for the 360 so I doubt they'll port this to Live. I wish they would though, it's far fucking better, it'd be great to play the 9 gaming modes online with 4 people on the same console at the same time (Something RARE seem to always add) and getting achievements would be cool too.

LOVE THIS GAME, man.. I LOVE THIS GAME.. god.. though in my opinion the Matrix part was pretty fun, and I replayed the dooms day beach scene in numeral times.. and man the story ties together so well.. and I really felt engaged and I was so sad when his gf died in the end.. alien boss was a bit of a disappointment but still.. I remember the Dracula castle and flying as a little bat.. and the meat grinder.. and playing multiplayer for hours to hours with my friend..

And in the technical deffinition of the word review, it's more of a review than anything "professional" sites do where the spend too long mentioning other games and then pluck a score out of this air.

I really am sick of repeating myself. The opinion came about because people wanted it. As for the score, I'll never do it.

And I wouldn't pluk a score out of thing air, what I was saying is that a lot of "professionals" seem to do just that. I'm sick of reading reviews where all they do is slag it off for it's many problems, but then give it a 7. And then there's people who do nothing but rave about how good it is, but then give it a 7.

Instead they tend to spend more time talking about other games that have no bearing on the game in hand. Mainly when it's a sequel, they'll go on and on about what made the last game great but then spend 10 seconds on the new one. At least if it was "this feature was great in 1, but it's been removed for 2" but it rarely is.

Usually it's a full 3 paragraphs about how much people love the series before they even ever get around to talking about the new one.

As I've explained many a time now doing them other ways is to much work for such little effort, if it's simple enough to show these things then I do, but I won't go out of my way making video's take 3 times as long as least just to show off the odd weapon.

Not fearful, just unwilling. I'm of the attitude of "people like them like this, why change?". Because for every guy like you who complains about how they're done, there's at least 50 who like them as they are. And why would anyone go and change for a handful of people when they'd risk pissing off 50 dozen more?

While I'm not after a high sub count, I do the vids to help, and if changing the format makes them less helpful, then why the hell would I risk changing?

I've said it before and I'll say it again, if you don't like them, keave and stop wasting my time. Because I'm not changing for a few people when doing these changes would make it harder to do as many vids.

The way I do them now, record and talk at the same time, one big vids with a few cuts that my editor removes.

Capture card route means recording tons of footage to then have it cut down to just show off specific things. That means longer conversion time, longer editing time, longer

Then there's the recording the voice seperately. That alone adds more time as I then have to try and match up my voice with what's happening on the video by that point.

That means making a script, testing it out, seeing how long I've got to talk about one thing before moving onto the other etc... By the end of 1 vid, I could've made 20 the way I'm doing them now.

@gameboycolor47 No, DK64 is only on the N64. Rare Ltd., the developer, is now a Microsoft first party designer, so they couldn't add that to XBLA or VC. And DK64 is too big also.

In all honesty I prefer inverted because of flight games, I got so used to it on those that when I tried to play shooters I sucked at aiming until I inverted it.

So it's second nature now, but it's one of those that as you say, if it's not feeling right for you then it never will.

It's a royal pain when games don't allow control customisation because I've yet to find a gamer who plays with everything on default on every game.

Dunno, depends on if you know you like it, because in this day and age with money being tight 100 bucks is even more than it seems now. But at the same time I think it's a fantastic game that's better than 90% of the titles that's came out in the past 10 years so even if you end off spending the same on it as a new game, it'll be worth it :D

I loved the little jokes they added in the remake paying tribute to the original the only thing I wished they did was leave the swear words (without beating the game) and to keep the original multi-player along with adding the new one. I honestly didn't like the new multi-player though. The graphics were amazing though way better than the N64.

The race mode looks like an enhanced race mode from Jet Force Gemini, which makes sense because that was made by Rare as well.
