The presenter speaks of predators. Does this mean that the frogs are my friends and not foes? They consistently burrow a hole around the roots of the tomato plants. Can they damaging the tomato plants? I'm talking about those that are 3-4 inches long. They are dark brown and therefore well camouflaged.
@3:53 what did he say about frogs, lizards and other predators? They are all ....
Can anyone please tell me whether frogs are the friend or foe in a kitchen garden. I'm talking about those that are 3-4 inches long. They are dark brown and therefore well camouflaged. They consistently burrow a hole around the roots of the tomato plants. Are they damaging the tomato plants?
I love this video! The host is practically on "cloud nine" in this beautiful, lush kitchen garden. I believe him when he talks about the psychological uplifting effects of working in a place like this, surrounded by the endless variety of colors and scents.
Great video I love the concept of a food forest and placing different plant types together to confuse the bugs and incorporating natural bug predators. My garden is a bit more organized (I need this for my own mental sake..lol) but follows many of your concepts. I have now successfully grown plants from bags for those of us who do not have the luxury of a large plot
Really like the concept of your food forest and natural predators. However for my on mind I like my garden more organized so I use compost bags and black plastic with drip tape to keep evenly watered. When fully grown my vegetable garden looks great.
i planted bambbo, edible cactus bananas, one avocado tree, an edible climbing plant, i have finished 2 raised beds like this out of 10 i plan to have in the end all in my 1600 sq foot garden is great is amazing how much you learn in the process, i am struggling to buy 1 acre of land. i encourage everyone to try it no matter how small is the space you have. Peace.
it's true...climate determines so much of our planting/foraging abilities....though, a desert can be a mecca for certain varieties....a stay in new mexico proved that true.
great. Its a different psychological experience to see how our garden plants are growing everyday and giving the food that we need from nature. everyone should try farming once in their life.. you will love our planet
