@MarcellusTheGreen Actually the movie was released in November 1986, about a month before Christmas so it would make sense. I remember it well. I just came off from a shitty exam at University plus a girl I grew up with hsd just broken my heart really bad but Star Trek 4 and the upbeat music made me forget about it all for a couple of hours.

I can see the Christmas connection to this excellent theme music. It's festive,
upbeat, uplifting, and highly enjoyable! It's different from the themes to the
first three movies, which are also excellent!
