  • Saw this last night! it was so good! i loved the mini! so cute!

  • someday..THAT will be me. ^^

  • most beautiful show I've ever seen..

  • @kalenvS - I think they have a book out about their horse training on their website cavalia.net. They are very dedicated to promoting the philosophies of classical dressage: partnership & communication and promoting humane treatment of animals. I know there's a lot of information about their stance on training on their website. You can see during the show some of the subtle signs of their training when you watch them with the horses (ie: lots of patience and communication).

  • @gingersharmony - I've only owned mares myself but I understand why Cavalia doesn't have mares because they work with stallions too. Have you ever tried to work with a stallion and a mare in heat at the same time in the same place? It doesn't work! At best it's comical and at worst it's a dangerous catastrophe. I doubt Cavalia have anything against mares they're just making good safety choices.

  • I had the chance to meet all the Cavalia horses in person! Even the babies! It was amazing!

  • I had the opportunity to see this last night in Atlanta, and it was very beautiful! Those horses are very loved by the performers, and you can see that. To Dehzee, this is not the place to bring up horses and slaughter houses. Until you can figure out how to stop animal overpopulation, it is what will end up happening. What is more humane, letting an animal starve to death slowly, or put them down? Either way, it is a no win. These animals are not being tortured, so save it for some other video.

  • i went to cavalia and it does seem like a dream

  • I saw this show in Portland a couple weeks ago and i LOVED it!!! so beautiful :') i wish my horse could do those tricks! lol :p

  • I think that they choose boys over girls because boys have more play drive. Mares are too serious.

  • Just saw the US premier in Atlanta last night. Hands down THE most incredible show I've ever seen. The horses and performers are expert performers working in synchronicity that appears to be so natural. I've spent the day surfing Cavalia videos because I just don't want it to end...

  • I want to see this show SOOOO bad! I've seen Fantasia: Equine Affair but THIS looks amazing!!!

  • wow i really should have paid to go see them while they were here! beautiful!

  • Going to see this tonight! :D

  • Why only stallions and geldings? Mares are better work partners, easy to bond with and always willing to learn.

  • @gingersharmony Stallions can be difficult, but with the right training they make amazing partners. Geldings are big puppy dogs and usually go with the flow more than mares. I have ridden more mares than geldings, but sometimes I can't stand mares. Almost all of the mares I have ridden don't want to work and throw fits about it, and spook, buck, and spin. Personally, I like geldings a tad more, because I cannot deal with overly sassy horses. They don't use mares, because they use stallions. :)

  • @gingersharmony Geldings have better temperments thats why. Mares can be mares and buck and be brats. Thats why I prefer geldings over mares. But any horse can be willing to and easy to bond with, even geldings or stallions. And male horses are great work partners. Harley is a great work partner and dreamer is fantastic work partner (:

  • @bellingerga

    No need to get testy.

You have your opinion and I have mine.

  • @savvydanee Please tell me you at least tried to talk her out of it?:)

  • Appearing at every hotel on the Las Vegas strip next

  • Yuck, circus de soliel with horses

  • 2:04

  • 99 percent

  • Saw this show last sunday....Sure was something.

  • This shows to all of the idiots who thinks horses are dumb.

  • 99 percent cavalia

  • So let me get this streight if we were to quit breeding horses we would eliminated un wanted horses. Also by limiting the gene pool only horses like impressive would get bred and we would illiminate the species due to lack of genetic viability. Kind of like what BLM is doing to the wild horses.

  • @6wyocowboy I listened to a clueless woman who wanted to breed her pony mare to a paint just because she loves paints. She then made the comment "I guess ponies are supposed to be pigeon toed." So who is going to care for the foal when it comes out solid colored and dead lame?? Or what about all these foundered AQHA horses that find their way to the breeding shed? only idiots need to quit breeding!!!!

  • im so glad i get to go see this show! its coming to my city, and iim very excited! :D

  • thats lame the only use geldings and stallions mares are way better ;D

  • I went to the one in phoenix, sadly i had such a bad cold I could barely make out the acrobats and horses- which was pathetic since I was one of the front rows.... =( missed my opportunity to see something amazing :/

  • Such a beautiful looking show! I would so LOVE to attend but the ticket prices are out of my range.

  • @r3dR41n work there!!! thats what i did when they came to my city :) u get to see the show ^^

  • Does anyone know if this ever goes to Chicago? Thanks!

  • i saw the show.... it was so beautiful

  • The horses are well treated, we can see it. And we can also see that they are close to there rider, the horse can accomplish anything for his rider.

    Cavalia is the best !

  • The horses are well treated, we can see it. And we can also see that they are close to there rider, the horse can accomplish anything for his rider.

    Cavalia is the best !

  • i just wonder how they train their horses....not saying they do it in a bad way..just wondering.

  • Cavalia was amazing, for anyone here who has horses did anyone notice that at the beginning the horses all had their ears back? Aside from that, spectacular. My fav. part was when the horses were alone with the trainer, no ropes or acrobatics. Pure beauty.

  • I <3 this show! Absolutely gorgeous

  • Dehzee:

Slaughter houses aren't the problem. People backyard breeding and creating more and more unwanted horses are the problem.

No unwanted horses = no slaughter houses.

Don't attack the effect, attack the cause.

  • @TaylorRunyon I absolutely could not agree more! Well said.

  • @TaylorRunyon bullshit rhetoric. attack both if both are wrong

  • @TaylorRunyon That's funny, because there are far more Thoroughbreds in the slaughterhouse, from the over breeding of trying to find the perfect race horse than there are "backyard breeders".

  • @TaylorRunyon That is very true when it comes to backyard breeding. I know many breeders who are responsible, and never have sold horses to slaughter buyers. The backyard breeder is unrealistic and wasteful, however there will always be slaughter for horses.

  • I saw it twice. It was wonderful *-*

  • I saw them and I loved it

  • I think the best tribute we could give our horses in Canada and America is to stop sending them to brutal, inhumane deaths on the slaughterhouse floor.

  • @Dehzee Well said!!

  • @Dehzee ...but where will I get tasty horseburgers from?

  • @ArchNME i hope your kidding. and, even if you are, that is still the most sick thing i have ever heard.

  • Saw Cavalia today, May 1st-2011 in Vancouver, BC. It truly is a dazzling performance.

  • does anyone make 'tsaheylu' with the horses?

  • Just saw it in Vancouver wasn't very good

  • @bignickdawg ??

  • Saw it in Vancouver today and I was blown away

  • @chelseasleep

    Me too :)!

  • Just saw this an hour ago in vancouver... Just ...amazing

  • @nsaminder It is quite possible to NOT "break" a horse, as Monty Roberts will tell you. Shy Boy chose a human over his old herd of wild horses. There are a handful people in the world-these Cavalia trainers are a part of them-that gain a horse's trust though the willingness and pleasure the horse has when doing the tasks asked.

    These are horse whisperers.

  • @horseluvrxox I saw Monty and he was amazing. The horses absolutely accepted him as herd leader, he was too old to ride, but the horse would accept whoever he would direct onto horses that had never been ridden. He was amazing, no force or cruelty.

  • @nsaminder Absolutely not. I've seen Monty Roberts w/ wild horses & he goes through motions that cause a horse ( a herd animal) 2 accept him as leader, so when he gives the okay, the horse trusts him 2 put a rider on top. No bucking, breaking, sweat. I saw him train horses, taking about 15 minutes. These methods r repeatable. We can speak with our bodies in poses & motions that are meaningful to horses. You're a drama qween . Trying getting some current info before u decide u know it all

  • @nsaminder excuse me??? im a woman and i want a large male dog who will defs not have its balls cut off and i know im not the only one. most people fix their male dogs because it makes them less agressive so they can get along better with other dogs. male AND female dogs also get fixed because if that didnt happen wed have shitloads of unwanted abandoned puppies everywhere.

  • @nsaminder And where the hell do u see wild horses running around anymore anywhere? there are very few wild horses left and the DONT screw around like ppl they have mating seasons. half the horses for this show are stallions which means they are NOT fixed. these horses enjoy performing otherwise they would say fuck off and refuse to do anything. the music and costumes are added to enhance the already natural beauty of the horses. if ur gonna have an opinion like that please have proper reasoning

  • @nsaminder My cat is not declawed, actually.

  • This show was amazing

  • going to see this in less than 2 weeks ^_^ so excited!!

  • Just got home from this - was totally amazing!!!

  • going tomorrow night!! I'm SO excited! :)

  • ARGH I wish they would come to Australia!

  • these horses must be spook proof! What good training!

  • Have spent my whole life with horses and have never seen anything like this! Spectacular! Incredible! Opening night in Vancouver was the best!

  • Have spent my whole life with horses and have never seen anything like this! Spectacular! Incredible!

  • wow i wish my horse could do all that awesome stuff > <

  • Floating. How does that work?

  • @legendof Fuckin' miracles

  • @legendof There were special wires that the performers were hooked up to. Its kinda like when you see a fairy flying when you go see a play. They'er hooked up to wires.

  • Its just not the same without Fred and Magali.....still amazing tho!

  • I saw it in San Francisco, dec,27,2010 it Was a dream come true!!!

  • those horses are so beautiful and they really do look happy....as do the performers..

  • shes wearing a sting!!! >:O

  • Can someone please tell me if the Green side tickets (Cheapest) are not worth it? is there still a good view?

  • @chuvster i'm trying to find out the same thing!

    did anyone respond to you?

  • Check out also: Lorenzo the flying frenchman

  • Is so expensive 200 for front row seats

  • @Sfvboy1 My councler at my school got me tickets for free :)

  • @Sfvboy1 you bet , the show is definitely not worth the high price tickets. the first half is boring.

  • @nsaminder You're funny! I agree, horses should be in the wild ... running free ... not being used to make money. If one loves horses, you should want them to roam free. What if horses kept humans in cages and took them around a world tour and used them to do tricks ? LOL Freedom! Freedom! Freedom!

  • @VenusAsABoyFilms if the horses didn't not enjoy what they were doing, they would not be performing at liberty like that. believe it or not if a horse is trained right and has a respectful relationship with its handler it will enjoy what it is doing.

  • @nsaminder If a horse is properly trained and bond with their trainer/owners, they enjoy what they do. I have experienced it my self. Horses are social animals, and if you learn how to communicate with them it is possible to have a respectful friendship with them. These horses look happy and healthy, and the handlers/riders are doing very well. This is beautiful horsemanship. Sexuality and gender have nothing to do with.

  • Cavalia was the best show I ever saw!

  • @messymelon39 you need to get out more

  • I saw the show less than a month ago and I loved it. It was like I couldn't breathe through the whole thing, it was so amazing. The bond between the horses and people was so unbelievable. It was the best show I have ever seen!

  • amazing

  • The advertising for this makes it seem like it's a show for Furries.

  • I saw this today at 2:30 Pm. IT WAS AMAZING!!! I saw it in San Fransisco so near the end a guy came riding by with a banner that said S.F. Giants World Champions. It made me LOL.

  • Yesterday I went to the horse races.

  • unicorns or GTFO

  • i saw this today at 2:30 it was awesome u ya never saw it well what u waiting 4 do now!!!

  • OH MY GOD!

my grandma might be taking me to this like she took me to 2 other cirque shows live. I CAN"T WAIT!

  • This made me cry both times i saw it.

  • I have been waiting five years for it to come to my town, and its finally here!!! cant wait 2 c it!!!!!

  • I worked for them in denver, and I personally witnessed them beat and whip the horses of stage, Sylvia especially... they are racist to their temp laborers, under paid and slanderized.... The show is not worth the money, their food is easily tainted. I would never work for them nor would I ever see their show...bad bad bad people

  • @Johnnybgoode2you You worked for them but would never work for them? Some video of them hitting the horses would be great

  • It's beautiful!!!!!!!!!

  • I went and saw it in San Francisco and it was absolutely amazing.

  • i saw it live yesterday and it's the best stage show i've ever seen.

  • good comentary

  • This is absoulutely amazing... I might be going to see them soon in Denver. :D

  • I saw this show outside Boston several years ago and went back the next week to see it again! The second time I got the ticket that included a lovely buffet during intermission and then access to the stables to see the horses after the show. I would go again in a heartbeat if it returned to the Boston area. It was magical!

  • Not only is this an insane bond between person and horse, but it aslo a trust and work bond. These horses are so patient. It not onlys blow's my sox of, but It makes my jaw drop and make me wonder how well I actually am with my horse. Amazing.

  • My mom and I have gone twice, planning to go again. Reminds me why Ido what I do and puts me in a state of awe.

  • "The Hx of the hor$e which is about almost the Hx of the world." Everywhere YOU SEE a horse ahhhhh! hoof on the sand you see a step of Man on the side. The Clandi$+ine so soon to march on Pali$+ine~+~+~* Viaje del hechicero~* The Eagles en su servicio.

  • this is amazing!!!!!!!!!!!

  • WoW ! je comprend

  • i saw this in jersey it was buetfifal, i loved how they didnt use whips, they used crops, but they barely hit them with it.

  • wow...i sooo want to go see that! i love horses, and they look sooo graceful and yet powerful in this.

  • SPECTACULAR! This is a must-see! We went for the horses, but the entire production is absolutely beautiful...

  • I wish I could see them live!

  • I saw it twice and it blew my mind. It was so lovely. I urge everyone to see it. And the CD is also worth getting... the music is extraordinary.

  • it was the greatest show on earth.

  • un excelente espectaculo

  • I just went to this show.... absolutely amazing and mind blowing!!!!!

  • i wish my ponys could do tht

  • ¡¡¡ Impresionante y muy hermoso !!!

  • It takes a lot to impress me when it comes to horses but believe me... I was impressed, actually it blew my mind. Greatest show on this earth!!!!!

  • I saw it twice in 2005 and once in 2006.

Each tyime, I had a VIP ticket giving me access to the stables after the show and tiy can believe me when I say those horses are EXTREMELY well treated.

Once, a horse hit the border of the stage with his foot, his handler immediately stoped the performance to examine carefully the horse's 4 feet to make sure he was OK before resuming the show (under a shower of applause, I must add).

Price wise, it's similar to Cirque du Soleil.

  • Saw this years ago and it was the best show i have ever seen

  • very pretty
