the raising of animals for the purpose of meat consumption is incredibly destructive to the environment. also, the amount of arable land used to simple feed animals intended for slaughter is staggering -- imagine if that land was used to produce food directly for human consumption. the price of food would drop massively, and starvation would be GREATLY reduced. Since people choose to eat meat, they support a system that directly leads to the starvation and death of humans. so yeah meat is murder

The tax increase Obama talks about will hit the majority of small businesses. John McCain's irresponsible choice of a running mate is costing him more votes than it's gaining him. Even conservative newspapers like the Washington Post are endorsing Obama now. You can fool some of the people all of the time, and all of the people some of the time, but you can't fool all of the people all of the time. This time we're not buying it. Obama '08!
