How do you know that it was Destiny attenders who were sending those threats, it could've been anyone (just like Campbell no-ratings has fake interviews with the supposed 'medal thief' who was really a paid actor).

@mercstarcos First off, the death threats were most probably a Media wind up to justify yet another attack on this Church, secondly, Bishop Brian Tamaki has done alot of interviews with numerous media outlets clearing up and justifying what he is doing, the only person he hasn't done an interview with is John Campbell of Campbell Live, because of the way he goes about things (eg. just showing up to places expecting an interview).

I have found Christains can get angry very quickly when people mock their beliefs. However they get even angrier when you point out the many flaws in the beliefs in a calm manner.

How do you know that it was Destiny attenders who were sending those threats, it could've been anyone (just like Campbell no-ratings has fake interviews with the supposed 'medal thief' who was really a paid actor).
Those people were not even regular attendees to their respective church's, they were saying "I gave $1000 and I'm still waiting for my $100,000". People are just uninformed by the media and have false perceptions already stuck in their heads.

@mercstarcos First off, the death threats were most probably a Media wind up to justify yet another attack on this Church, secondly, Bishop Brian Tamaki has done alot of interviews with numerous media outlets clearing up and justifying what he is doing, the only person he hasn't done an interview with is John Campbell of Campbell Live, because of the way he goes about things (eg. just showing up to places expecting an interview).

I have found Christains can get angry very quickly when people mock their beliefs. However they get even angrier when you point out the many flaws in the beliefs in a calm manner.

The Media do not want to tell the story of how many people have been helped or the values which this Church stands for, New Zealand was birthed from Christian values (eg. the National anthem 'God Defend New Zealand'), they do not report facts only peoples reactions.
Take into account the 'Enough Is Enough' march in 2005, people were quick to hear one side, like Georgina Byer calling him a Nazi, but they didn't report on the actual values which Destiny and their Political Party stood for.

I have never seen so many people fearfull of Destiny church because we stand up for family values & what the bible says. People react the way they do because they listen to the media twist every thing Bishop says. How about you research the life of General William Booth who founded the Salvation Army? You really should read about how large dangerous movements have started throughout history. There is a distinct pattern, which is found in many of them from Nazi Germany to Waco Texas. You really should educate yourself about this. I know Tamaki says that you shouldn't let others influence you, but this is just one part of the pattern, the rejection of reasonable dialogue with outsiders. If you are in search of truth you shouldn't fear educating yourself in the lessons of history.

you imagine all the destiny church goers giving one dollar every week "they probly give more $" but those thousands of people being taken for granted, it must be a very very very very large pay, i struggle to make 1,220$ & i have to work ten hours every day to reach those digits. i am still very happy thou, i know how to live a happy life, because i simply learned of life. & i am glad, cause if i didn't, i would of made myself go to church & i possibly could of ended up @ destiny church$!

i am about to find myself telling you guys the major problem i have with this: most church people bible bash each other but never act upon what they have learnt, i think its because they are gutless or don't understand it all. i am doing exactly what we are meant to be doing & i don't even go to church, my body is my church, i can hear,see,smell,walk, & talk with my church. my/our life is the bible, i am not saying learning it is wrong, cause most people need to. i am not one of them.

The real scary part of this video is Mark Vrankovich, a man without a valid ministry, with no fruit, errors in his own life and under a Pastor out of order. I say that last bit because Mark has a website attempting to discredit others (rightly or wrongly) based on scripture, yet sits under a man 'voted in' by his church which is itself completely non scriptural.
Ironic is one word, hypocritical is another, unbiblical is another. Mark is in garve danger of becoming dark & 'cultlike' himself.

Are we talking about the same march? Same-sex activitity has been legal in NZ on the same basis as opposite since 1986. Destiny's "Enough is Enough!" march was about the Civil Union Bill (now Act). Many of our strait friends came in support. Do you imagine you can tell someone's sexuality by looking?
