Hard to believe its been 25yrs since I dropped the needle on the 1st track from the lp (ya know kiddies, the big black things that look like frisbees!) and heard Sammy welcome me with Heeellllloooooo bayyyyybee! 5150....legendary album, legendary title track. LOVE the guitars on it. EVH at his very best!

@RememberDeath2112 not to post on a dead thread but he did use real drums on this...Ludwig Vistalite II's. they used triggers on them... he was under contract back then to be Ludwig only. What you hear is real drums with a crappy digital effect

@1969DayTripper I appreciate Alex Van Halen is a great drummer but he's not in the same league as Keith Moon or even John Bonham. They were the greatest rock drummers ever. I don't think Alex is in the same league as Vinnie Colaiuta either, who has much more variation.
