  • Love this guy!

  • love this guy, me minds me of a friend I had.

  • HAHAHAHAH that guy is hilarious

  • I know this vid is a couple of years old,but it really hit the mark today as your vids often turn up in my recommended viewing, and I enjoy your anecdotes.Long story to not,the final nail in my friendship with a said narcissist. The kind of person who thinks other people are usuable consumables until they have nothing left to offer. We had a falling out,and awhile ago I tried to extend an olive branch, and as of yesterday had that branch handed back to me snapped. So that's that.Dust from my shoes.

  • I can relate.

  • thank you!

  • For 1: When you start talking to your old friends, they wanna let you know how everything is going and wants to pick things back up with you. They might even have a crush on you.

For 2: Aren't you to old to be acting gay?

  • I think most people are a little bit self asorbed but some are just way over the top. LOL.

  • You seem like a nice guy. Bet you know a million stories. But it's a little ironic you tell a story about someone talking at you while talking at a camera. Maybe you both like the sound of your own voices?

  • zipster no one cares.. stop posting videos

  • hey pokee, no one cares what you think, so stop posting hateful comments.

  • hey sarraavast fuck you

  • Mr gay man sir? Ever get feces on yer pee pee from sticking it where another man makes his doo doo?

  • zipster .i like your accent, you are genuine and a sweet sweet man. bless you

  • He talks like one of the Beastie Boys moms not that there's anythin wrong with that

  • Your partner died? Was it of boredom?

  • Yeah, from watching YOUR videos!!

  • @Zipster08 ooooooooh burn!

  • Gay

  • jakanddaxterlover15, the raw analytical power of your mind astounds me.

  • Good then.

  • I never know what to say when someone losses someone so dear. Nothing can make that feeling better. God bless you Zipster! Dammint - that really sucks!

  • GAWD! I used to have a friend like that. I dreaded seeing her at high school (a long time ago!) each day!

  • you laugh at the end gave me a total boner.

  • Man. It must really suck 2BU. Imagine. Having your life RUINED because you don't like someone on an internet site. Damn! Someone get this dude a razor blade! QUICK!

  • Here is the deal Zip, see him face to face then, smack that bitch...

  • LOL Yeah people talk at me...ALOT. Iunno, it's not that bad. I get all the free pop-corn shrimp I can eat. ^-^

You owned a gay bar? An entreprenuer (my spelling is ASS!) are you living well, or was it like, you know, enough money to make a chain?

Well, either way, dude one was all like..."BLAH!" and dude two was like

"I'm dying..blah blah blah. How are y...blah blah blah...oh hat's ni....blah blah blah! Oh, did you say somethi...blah blah blah!"

That musta drove you up a wall! XD XD!

  • My condolences... sorry to hear about your partner's passing *hugs*

I have an uncle exactly like this guy... I don't even talk to him anymore because he is such an ego-maniac to the point of being grossly insulting. Some people are so disgustingly self-absorbed. Sad, but true.

    *hugs & sparkles*

  • I work with a few Olympic talkers, and I have this pet peeve about being interrupted. haha. Glad to see others can relate

  • Actualy, I preffer it when people dominate the conversation. It takes the pressure off of me to come up with something to say and evades awkward silences. It's good to get a chance to respond though I'll admit.

  • just try not to get into a conversation that you care about and actually want to say something...

  • yes i hate when people do that, or if somebody calls me and asks for someone else's phone number

  • oh, having someone else talking non-stop during a conversation drives me nuts!!! - to them whatever you're saying is completely unimportant, it's all about them - hate that!!

  • I hate when that happens as well!

  • Lonely people are like that. I get a little torqued trying to escape from them...

  • Hello. I would like to tell you the latest news about my world. kick up your feet.

  • I have a several friends like that I hate it...One talks so damn fast it`s like she has 60 seconds to tell you what has happened in the last 20 years...I just want to say STOP AND TAKE A DAMN BREATH WILL YOU!!!

  • zipster - u are a really special guy - u actually have a bit of a cult following here in England. I'm sorry about Tim. It's horrible. I know.

  • ha ha ha yea i hate that too i just like hang up most the time ha ha ha lol at OMG YU KNOW CORY ha ha ha bye

  • sounds like he is one of those energy vampires!!

  • Wow! I can totally relate Zip! Great update!

  • geez, I don't know ANYONE like that. Not ANYONE at all...

  • Thanks for stopping by!

  • Again...why do assholes bother to leave comments?

If you don't like it don't watch it - simple. It isn't Zipster who needs to shut the fuck up.

  • @usmc289 lol

  • hey zipster

  • That is phonecalling AT you, not WITH you. Give him a chance or two - if he keeps it up, stop returning the calls. Maybe he was just lonely today?

  • Shut the fuck up, you asshole!!

  • Why even fuckin bother leaving a comment like that?

    Fuckin twat...

  • how dare you insult zipster noobonthecob

  • I know exactly what you're talking about and it sucks! Lose those self-absorbed jerks!

  • Grrrrrrrr got a few of them!! they dont listen to you but theyll spill the beans on themselves for hours!!

Its not very interactive is it!

  • Zipster its me Jeff!!! Haha ~Thinks~ Let me see if I can fool Zipster.

  • I hate talking on the phone.

  • Ha ha ha, whats funny, is now he's probably going to be looking for you on youtube and here you are telling on him! You are too much fun to watch! i love it. Sorry about your partner~ take care!

  • HA HA HA thats funny-- i know alotta ppl like that

  • Hahahaha. Yes, those are the people that ask you how your day went just so they can talk about theirs.

  • I have to watch myself on that as well. I'm getting better. Guilty.

  • I am guilty of doing this from time to time and when I catch myself I try to turn it around and listen. I do, however, do it from time to time to get people off the phone :) I did that just this afternoon :)

love your vids! you are awesome!

    Peace and love,

    Jeanne

  • your gay? ha that is so cool

zipster i love you so much

you can always make me laugh

  • Thanks!

  • I've had a few experiences like that, a girl I don't talk to anymore b/c of it, and we knew each other for 10+ years. I called her once after being in the hospital, (thought I had a heart attack) and she said oh really that's to bad, and then talked about her divorce and custody of her kids and that was it, and she did stuff like that all the time to me, if something was going serious in my life, it would always be about her. It IS very frustrating! love ya xoxo Liana

  • OMG! This is so ironic! One of my best friends talks about herself ALL the time, and as soon as the conversation steers to me, she'll start doing things in the background (talking to someone, etc.). I think these people should not be in our lives. They don't seem to add much, and life is too short to deal with this sort of stuff.

  • Sometimes I find I am doing others a great favor by NOT answering the phone. I call it "Charity Work". not a snob, just don't want to be "un-Nice" ya know? xoxoxoxoox

  • My ex was so like that Zip, I could set him down go to the bathroom and he never noticed me gone, this happend on many occasions, and people who talk like that never really have a damn thing to say. I guess its just life and the time we never will get back...HA. Love ya!

  • it is kind of like leaving comments on someones video saying "hey great video" and never getting a 'thank you" LOL =great video Zip

  • I hear that!!

  • i saw one off ur vids and i already subbed you keep up the good wrk:P

  • Thanks!!

  • you're awesome =)!

  • So are you!!

  • I didnt know zipster was gay that aint cool man!!!

  • Neither are YOU!!

  • I have a friend like that also. She tells me all kinds of things about her family. LOL who I never been around.

  • OLDER VERSION OF WHATTHEBUCK!!!

  • WHATTHEBUCK? Where on earth did you come up with that? Is it cuz we're both gay?

  • A pin in his foot. WTF?

  • Jeff? Hey Zip its me!!! LOL

  • not on the phone but my other half is like that.I come home from work and she ask "how was your day?" and before I can get one word out she's going on and on about her day!

  • yes, that DOES drive me crazy... ugh, i lvoe you Zipster :)

  • my step-mother is like that...drives me crazy

  • Yup...I hate when that happens too. Usually I don't ever call them back.....I am not their sounding post....!

  • I have an answer machine for those pesky moments.

  • I hate that too!

  • Hold it zipster, you WORK for youtube? Ok now we know!!!LOL

I do know people just like that!

  • I've worked for YouTube since April of 2007!

  • that shit makes me crazy

  • oh yeh i so hear you.

people usually only get one chance to do that to me.. then it's "Ok Bye"!

    - Loves ya Zip.

  • I hate being interrupted!!!! I will kindly tell the person "Dang you interrupted me!" And then of course laugh to ease the pain, that usually helps...

  • My mom's like that.

  • I hate that too. You poor thing. He was talking your ear off. When I come across people like that, it makes me think they're self-centered or something. Gee-Whiz!!!

  • YES! I do hate it, it drives me bonkers!! OR I hate it when people call and have nothing to say and even if you try to strike up a conversation.. they're like giving 1 word responses and there is a huge bunch of silence as if they're busy watching TV, but THEY called you. GRR, phone etiquette.

  • LOL

    ah dear...

    xxx

  • and when he sees this video itll be another 12 years! lol

i hope im not the same...contradiction right there lol

  • Maybe he just has no one to talk to. My sister in law is like that. When I told her I had been diagnosed with colon cancer she asked what the symptoms are and said, "Oh my God, I think I have that too." So much love to you Zipster. I am still so sorry for your loss.

  • Thanks!

  • your designer friend = my pal Dave EXACTLY!omg

  • birds of a feather my dear.. :O)now i usually just say shut the fuck up its all about me NOT you!some people never learn

  • I think its called "Self-centered"?? PammieKay

  • OMG, I totally know what you mean. It's those phone calls that remind me why I'm not hanging out with those people a lot anymore!

  • I don't know your friend's situation, but when a person is alone allot, with no one to talk to on a day to day basis, they have a tendency to run on, and on. I know as it is my situation right now. Perhaps, someone will tip him off, as so he can work on that fault, and perhaps it is only temporary. This vid was a wake up call for me, thanks!

  • Love ya!!

  • I usually come up with a creative excuse to get off the phone if this happens. Something along the lines of "I'll call you back, grandma just caught on fire"

  • Sounds funny when you tell it, but that is very annoying! Take care :).

  • Oh gosh I have friends who do that. I just hate it. I end up hanging up blaming it on my bad reception on my cell phone. But I do it so many times I think they are catching on.

  • LOL!

Phone calls like that are why I change my number every couple years.

  • And that's why I'm never home. ;)

    Wolfe

  • Good one, Zip! Hits close to home, as in, "Hi, Mom, how are you?" And she's off and running for 45 non-stop minutes....

    PS - Love ya, Ma!

  • Jeez... I watch a 2:47 video of yours and all you did was talk about yourself!

  • No, my friend!! I was talking about OTHER people!!

  • and that other guy!

  • You know what it is you wanted to talk as much as he did he just bet you the pouch.

  • ???

  • sorry about that terry I was in a rush. Yah well it seems that your friend is in his own world. every thing revolves a round him. But now you remember why the friendship did not work out in the first place. I know people like that. Very self centered. He will cost you too much. Be careful. catch you later.

  • The nerve

  • You don't understand they are the people that seriously believe "it's all about ME".

They only talk to you to talk about themselves.

  • yeah, I hate it when that happens when all someone can do is yack on and on all about meeeee blah blah blah...

  • I always hate that, I'll call one of my friends and want to tell them about what happened and somehow we end up on some other subject. Then I never get to tell them what happened. Which is why I vlog.lol.

  • I think you're right when you say we all have people like that in our lives. SO true. Sometimes I wonder who THAT person's person is.

  • Thats nice, now lets talk about meeee....

  • Yes, I agree Zippy. There is a name for people like that: pychic vampires!

  • Yes! This drives me crazy!! I have a friend who does this to me all the time. I've discovered the closed captioning feature on my tv so I can mute the volume and still watch tv while she yammers away.

  • Wow. Your ex-friend in NYC is a real door-knob. Completely insensitive!

  • THAT"S CRAZY!!! But yeah I hear ya!

  • YESSS omg...my grandpa died over the weekend, & I called up one of my very best friends. I said "ya, I'm sorry I couldn't hang out tonight, my grandpa just died." so what does she say "Okay well what about tomorrow or tuesday?" me- "well tuesday will probably be the funeral" her- "kayy well just let me know! Omg I had to play this bitchhh in tennis today...[BLAH BLAH BLAH]" she went on & on with not even the slightest sound of sympathy or acknowledgement.

    bitch.

  • UNREAL!!

  • you're cute!! :)

  • Thanks!

  • Talk AT you! lol! Hahaha, what a great way to put it!

  • omg and *I* thought I lacked tact. lol I agree with Zipster...I hate people like that. So self-absorbed.I'm a sucker for them tho cuz I'm a really good listener, but I have become meaner through the years towards those people. We all have a finite amount of time in this world and I make an effort to be considerate of the time I steal from ppl and expect others to do the same. Otherwise,I cut those people out of my life. I mean COME ON "i stuck a needle in my foot"?lol i would haf just hung up.

  • I almost did!

  • I love ya zipsster! your like a cool hip grandma i've never had :)

  • GrandMA??

  • well not in a bad wayy , you have that charisma of a cool grandma so sweet and kind and trust worthy, get me? =] it's a good thing trust me lol

  • Funny.. a friend I have that does that, lives in NY.

    Maybe it's a NY thing.

  • You are right, we all have one. Actually, I think each of us is that way during some periods of our lives, but most of us get over it and go back to normal. But "my partner died" "Oh, I got a pin stuck in my foot" is the worst!!!!! The guy with liver cancer may have been having a bad day and reached out to someone from his past that made him feel good, but he was afraid to let you talk because he's so wrapped in his own problems and was afraid you'd tell him yours - he has nothing to give now.

  • ha! ha! ha!

    You're a very wise man!

I remember a "friend" of mine went to my Dad's wake. he didn't even go to the casket. All he did was cry on my mother's shoulder about his separation from his wife. He wife, (who I was closer to) didn't even attend. Narcissists, indeed!

  • Yeah, I have a college friend that does the same thing everytime that she calls, it is just nothing but stuff about her,her,her... but I still love her, I just hate it when I have to shout to get the phone caller's attention in the conversation!

  • Yeh, that kind of rubs me the wrong way, too. But I don't know, I'm a good listener; plus I can usually pick up when a person *needs* to talk and when they don't want to talk (or listen in some cases).

    Have a good one, Zip!

  • I freaking love you Zippy

  • lol that guy sound like a doosh bag and the second one just sounds well he sounds like a doosh too

    RgB

  • i hate it when people that you are face to face with do that and when your trying to talk to someone they can hear you clearly but ignore you like a hard head and start talking with someone else.

  • Aug, what's worse is when they catch you in a restaurant or something...while you're with someone else...and they talk about themselves...oh god I hate these people...

  • Know what ya mean..can't get a word in edgewise! Thanks, Grams

  • Zip...if the guy likes YT, do you think he will be watching this one? LOL, if so, will he know its him you are talking about? :-)

  • He never even asked what my channel name was on YouTube!!

  • You work for YouTube?

  • yeah a bunch of them do. I think they make a few cents a day. :-), I am thinking about it myself if it would lower my tax bracket..lol

  • I know what you mean Zipster. My brother is just like that.

  • I know what you mean. I have a friend that calls me and talks 2 hours and I only talk for a minute or 2. I just say oh really every so often and thats all I get to say.

  • This is why I avoid calling my parole officer...

  • lol

  • He is So self centered!!

  • ROFL...good one

  • I know exactly what you mean, when I am on the phone with someone like that, I just watch TV and throw in a couple of u-huhs and oks every know and then.

  • Yeah, the same as what I do :P

  • This is why I never answer the phone.

  • People call me up and expect me to talk.. :\

You donno how lucky you are.

  • Yep, hate to talk to someone who is all about THEM. Of course I am interested in the goings on, but I got some goings on too.. But anyhoo.. some people didn't get the listening gene.

  • the listening gene...thats a good one. Some of my kids at school need the shut-up gene.

  • Sheeesh, Zip.

I was called to come in for a job interview (CALLED mind you- I didn't bug THEM for it). I am OVER-qualified for this job, but being a teacher without a job, I went in.

The principal talked at me for about an hour. Other than asking me-"so tell me about your background?" and "do you have any questions for me (him)?"- HE did ALL the talking, and then said he'll be deciding on the position next week and thanks for coming in.

What was THAT? Was he LONELY and needed to talk??

  • (~~)8 Jah..My mothers like that.

Hey..You are looking good. Happier! It's good to see.

  • I know what you mean and I'm afraid that I'm doing that and then shut up.

The pin in the foot guy, I think I know who you mean. Doing that is so self centered. Oh well we can't all be as good as you. he he

  • My X is like that...she could talk forever!

I've even fallen asleep on the phone and she didn't notice! I know how you feel! :)

  • so you should tape and post ur visit with him..or did it even get planned? lol

  • Omg i have family who do that. They ring up to ask how i am but never let me actually tell them. LOL :)

  • haha Zipster maybe he will watch this video and realize how jerky he was on the phone.Have a great weekend

  • Ha! That's why I hate talking on the phone - and that's probably not normal for a woman!

  • hell yeah.. happens to me too Zipster....

  • I hate the phone. When people call me up it's always to ask stuff from me and never just to ask how I'm doing. As if I don't get that at work all the time. One of the benefits with these kind of people, Zipster, is that you can put the phone aside and continue what you were doing, and they'll never know. Is there such thing as altruism?

  • That is my mother!!!!! Almost everyday!

  • The first part, about the guy getting the pin stuck in his foot, takes my breath away. I would have gotten in my car, driven all the way to New York, gone and seen that queen and bitchslapped his ass into the next lifetime. :-o
