  • EA ARMA ES DE UN JUEGO JAJA XEVERE EL VIDEO...MALDITOS GRINGOS !

  • How do i know when to stop screwing in the stopper when re-installing it?

  • @louie000007 I have an assembly video as well - Basic Assembly of the Saiga 12 Shotgun

  • @sam34574 Awesome, thanks.

  • thanks now my christmas present is ready to be moded

  • just got this gun for my birthday yesterday, and LOVE it!!! appreciate your videos on how to take it apart and put it back together.....my gun was made in sept of '11, are there any differences that I should know about?

  • thank you for taking the time to post.

  • Excellent video, preparation and execution! Thanks

  • Take down is almost like an AK-47 Much easier than the MKA 12 gauge.

Good video for those who are experienced with firearms.

  • good vid, straight to the point.

  • well done, but would sure like to see how to completely disassemble particularly how to get to the gas ports to clean them.

  • can you explain what you use to clean what parts of the gun and how? maybe do a video? do you oil/lubricate your saiga? i am a gun novice

  • what setting do you have your gas plug set at because i just bought a slightly used saiga 410 today, cleaned it, took it to the range and for some reason if i have more than one round in the magazine, the round wont chamber and it will get stuck. guy at the range said that it wasnt the magazine and that it was possible i had a dirty gas chamber. i cleaned it again and still jammed. i adjusted the settings to both settings 1 and 2 and it still jams. any idea on what problem could be

  • @gilroy1g I have not used the 410. On the Saiga 12 the 2 setting on the gas plug allows more gas to go through to the gas chamber. That is setting 2 will push the bolt back harder to load a new round. One problem could be that the ammo you are using does not have enough powder so is not providing enough gas to push back the bolt and load the next round. Try different ammo or use another 410 with the same ammo.

  • Great how-to.

I just bought a Saiga 12 and it's definitely a bit different from my MAK-90, so I wasn't quite sure what all was supposed to come apart.

    Thanks!

  • and here I thought I was the only one who wore latex gloves while working/cleaning my guns.

  • Very good video thank you.

  • very informative...thank you

  • wow this helped me a lot and u look like a pro doin this

  • Very nice. thank you.

  • is it normal for the saiga 12 to have scratches and wears on the gas piston?

  • I would not worry to much about it. I have scratches on the gas piston and bolt support where they touch each other. Just normal wear and tear from the force of the force of the gas pushing the bolt support back after a shot is fired.

If there are big scratches on the side of the piston I would clean and oil the gas chamber and the piston.

  • @pvtjoker777 im sure your guns rather new, all the parts need to wear together, once they get to a point they wont wear anymore. this is something almost any rifle goes through. basicly a breakin point. could take 500rds could take 2k but its all normal

  • @sharper1106 yeah, i figured that it was just the black finish commin off on the piston and the hammer but it functions extemely well enough for me, i picked it up for about 430 at a pawnshop cant complain.

  • Thanks a million man. I'm new to the Saiga 12 community and the instruction manual that came with the gun didn't explain dick about dissasembly. Excellent video.

  • Well shot vid. Easy to follow directions. This is what YouTube is about.

  • aweome video man! very helpful

  • Perfect! Helped guide me through my first cleaning!

  • Awesome video! Thanks!!

  • Superb, I'm subscribing.

  • im going to buy a dragonov ak47 and saiga 12 when i get enough money

  • Great Vid. Please post a video of how and where your oil your shotgun. Thanks!

  • @etcskm Sorry for the double post.

  • Great Vid. Please make a video that shows how and where you oil your shotgun. Thanks!

  • thank you, basic Kalashnikov design works great

  • but how do you remove the firing pin

  • one of the best videos

    thank you

  • Thanks

  • @sam34574 so these are just about as reliable as the ak47 ??

  • @jacobninja25 They are based on the AK47 receiver. I have not used an AK47 to compare.

The only trouble I have had with the saiga12 is the shells getting jammed in the magazine (only happened twice so far), but the gun itself has never jammed up on me yet.

  • bellissimo video!!!!

  • Great video . Just what I needed .... so far

  • Thanks. Good video.

  • I found when taking off the reciever cover push the retracting mechanism just far enough forward so the plunger is under the reciever cover, then let go of the plunger and the cover just pops right off so u can do most to all of the basic disassembly with just one hand

  • Dude whats up with the Miming? Just talk threw it. Pretty cool vid. Ima do a complete assembly and disasembly soon

  • Thanks. Like everyone elce It helped me a lot! Assembling my take a tad longer, but as long as its clean Im happy.

  • It helped me a lot, thanks. Could you film a video on how to assemble it? I always struggle inserting the bolt back.

  • Your not the first to have problems getting the bolt support back into place. I will have the assembly video up soon

  • Thank you. I own a Wasr 10 and I had no idea they were so closely related. This makes cleaning my Saiga 12 much easier.

PS thank you for not putting music in the video.

  • Good video. Short, sweet and straight to the point. Thanks for posting it.

Oh, and thanks for not using any over-modulated music.

  • everyone sais that they got a saiga 12! isnt that a real shotgun?!?!? please answer!!

  • yes they are real shotguns, Semi Automatic AK style 12 ga shotguns

  • isnt that illegal?

if its not, where do i get one?!?!

  • no they are legal, my local gun shop has one atm, or you can look on gunbroker, they are around $650

  • Thank you. Much easier to watch than to make sense of the manual. I guess the thing is actually pretty simple.

  • easy to take apart, i had a rough time getting bolt support and bolt back in the first time.

  • Just got mine today , the gun really is a marvel of engineering, the Avtomat Kalashnikova platform has always been robust and simple but in the 12GA. configuration the design is BRILLIANT. I love how the extractors work as well as the ones you would see on some rather highly priced semi auto's and the whole design works. unlike some other semi-auto 12GA.'s "cough "Franchi Spas-12 "cough" " ( Sorry bit of a pollen problem here down South...heh. )

  • Nice vid! I just got my Saiga 12 last weekend! It kicks ass!

  • I just got a Saiga 12 yesterday. Thanks again sam34574 good job.

  • Great video! It sure helped me!

Can you do a RE-assembly video?

Maybe one on removing the gas tube?

  • Very Nicely done. Best how to video about the saiga 12 on the net. Thanks again!

  • Excellent "How-to" video. I wish I had watched it before I took mine apart. I had to use the manual.

  • great video man, very helpful.

  • Great vid man, I got my Saiga AK in .223 a few weeks ago and just got done cleaning it with this vid. Thanks a ton!

  • Thanks! Glad it helped

  • Awesome vid; thanks for the help. Just ordered mine today, hope it gets here soon.

  • I'm looking forward to getting mine soon as well, I can't wait.

  • The Saiga 12 is a beast. The original stock is a bit long for right my arm, so I intend on swapping it out soon for a TAPCO T-6 stock with pistol grip. Surefire makes magazines and they count as 3 USA parts for 922r compliance. Happy shooting,

  • great video, thanks for making it! i just picked up my saiga 12 and the manual sucks.

  • i wanna see him put it back together lol. i always have problem putting the bolt carrier in the rail it rides on.

  • Great video! thanks for the help with my new Saiga ...

  • thx for the vid, very good demo on how to disassemble the Saiga. just wondering tho, have u had any problems with jamming??? when i first took my gun outside, the first several shells got caught in the reciever =[ any suggestions???

  • I have only fired mine a few times and have had no problems. I did disassemble and oil it before I fired it though.

  • alright, i'll oil it this weekend and then try it out =] thx for responding

  • Yeah that's pretty normal for most guns to jam a few times until you get about a hundred rounds thru. My pair have always functioned flawlessly tho, so I don't know what to tell you my friend. I'd say make sure the recoil spring is in good condition and that everything is lubed up real good, then clean it (mine came with a bit of rust on the bolt from the factory) and it should work. If that don't do it i dunno.

  • thx for the vid, i followed it and disassembled my Saiga 12. just wondering tho, do u have any problems with the shotgun shells ejecting completely??? i just bought mine and sometimes the shells well get caught in the action =[

  • Good vid

  • That was an excellent Disassembly Vid. I love the way you had pics and caption available. Very clean and easy to follow. You should do a conversion vid as I think you would do great.
