Dead Space was supposed to be the scariest game ever, but it just wasn't. Walking down a corridor, start hearing a "thump, thump, thump" look around a corner and it's a guy banging his head against the wall. Not scary at all.

i have a wii, the gameplay is amusing for a short while, but after that you lose intrest, the games are not making full use of the system, and every game is unimaginative. trying to mimic real life is in ways a good thing, however the idea of games is distract from your own life, therefore you need to feel perfect with the console, for me its graphics and exicting gameplay, for others its something else.
I also agree there's nothing wrong with the wii, I own a wii and 360 and they're both good in my opinion. The reason all 360 and PS3 fanboys hate on the wii so much is because Dead space Extraction isn't exclusive to either system. If it was they would be praising EA for it and they would be mocking Wii alot more. It's jealousy nothing more. Their only defence is graphics on Wii sucks, it's pathetic. Why is this game on the rails? Because Wii game makers cant be bothered to make a proper game too much effort, its understandable though when theres two other consoles PS3 and Xbox 360 producing a much better shooting/horror genre and type game.
It means like your character moves as if hes on a rail where he has to move like a train. Its kinda an expression so basically your character moves for you like in arcade games.

I think this is supposed to be on the planetside of the story. An also I don't own a wii but after studying each consoles CPU's and GPU's I found that the really is a powerful gaming system. Now not as strong as the 360 but it has very good graphics the problem is companies that want to make more 6 year old friendly games rather thangames for the hardcore gamer. Recently the Wii has been getting these better games though. But the PS3 has all that CPU power but can't use all of it.
Wii is quite a strong system indeed (but not as powerful as the other two so do we speak)And Nintendo will always do their evil little scheme of targeting little children to gain more popularity for every console release.
I'd say that this looks like it could be atleast as entertaining as the original. It's cheap as heck... The games are cheap and some of them are really good... They're not all pointless spinoffs and remakes =p Really I dunno if you're hardcore on gameplay and stuff, then maybe it's not for you, THEN ok, it's your call. Wii's weakness is its lack of challenging and deep games... (There are exceptions of course) (Yes, I'm ignoring the graphics, I don't care about graphics)

Resident evil UC and the house of the dead over kill were good, Resident evil dark side chronicles looks good but come on, another on rails shooter? I thought this was gonna be a Horror game like the first one, well, at least I still can buy Silent Hill: Shattered Memories instead.

I think this is supposed to be on the planetside of the story. An also I don't own a wii but after studying each consoles CPU's and GPU's I found that the really is a powerful gaming system. Now not as strong as the 360 but it has very good graphics the problem is companies that want to make more 6 year old friendly games rather thangames for the hardcore gamer. Recently the Wii has been getting these better games though. But the PS3 has all that CPU power but can't use all of it.

I'd say that this looks like it could be atleast as entertaining as the original. I do not see why this would ruin the franchise at all >_> And apart from the not-so-smooth edges the graphics looked pretty much just as good as my PC version, on highest. Regarding the Wii hardware, I am proud. I can haz this game nao ploks?

eurgh, arcade shooters are lightgun games, on rails, you just aim and shoot, house of the dead is an example. So basicaly the Wii pointer is perfect for it.
